I’m feeling very meh about today in general. Yes it’s good that we’re finally into the next phase (and remainers and leavers, as much as I’ve always disliked them as binary terms, should both think that), I do find it all a bit anticlimactic though. I really want to just press fast forward for a year and get to the real meat and bones of it.

For their European Superstate project, it's a blessing. We were the main obstruction holding it back.

Now there is no obstruction, which is why many nations in the EU have sent their heartfelt sorrow at our departure. There is nothing stopping the EU becoming what it always attained to be now. That is the biggest regret, but at least we will have no part of it. It was never our place to dictate that future of Europe, it had to be decided by it's members and apparently, it's what the majority wanted, even when we didn't.
What a load of shit.
If those many nations you refer to don’t want it to be a European superstate it won’t be.

Breaking news

Germany has realised they need to find the funding gap,

They can turn the piggy bank that is Greece upside down again perhaps?

On a serious note im waiting to see what both the German and French electorate say to being asked to bridge it with their taxes.
