Spurs (A) Post Match Thread

all this analysis and blaming, simply we missed our chances, missed a penalty, got frustrated, lost our heads and lost the game. That's what usually happens.

It's so weird watching games like this, and there's been a few. It's not like we were bad - at times we were very good - but it's like something is maybe a degree or two out and then we end up for away from where we need to be. Post, crossbar, open goals missed, penalties missed, and then we get hit with a wonder goal.

not really we can’t finish our chances and our defence is shite.

Meaningless game.

We'll still be in top 3 at end of season.

3pts wouldn't make any difference.

Not if the trend continues.

In a way the players have lost their chance to get another PL winners bonus with top 4 needed so perhaps they will need some extra cash to ensure top 4 for next season.

How though? Other than resigning your post, what in reality does ‘taking responsibility’ meaningfully consist of?
For some of the signings, not replacing VK continues to play best CDM in league at CB where it isn’t working

What's obvious to me is we're missing David's short passes in triangles around the edge of the box to pull these parked buses out of shape. We're also missing David's round the corner passes that bring out the best in Raheem by forcing him to run onto the ball in a straight line and directly.
