havent read all this 20 pages have jumped since last seen but only thing i can think of with my very limited knowledge of all this if city have signed off agreeing to the rules last time we was shafted

Have the Auditors ever made a public statement? I've never seen one so far but they have been referenced quite a bit lately within negative articles. I know people in the finance industry and one thing you never ever do is try to make out that an auditor is in some way complicit in anything remotely dodgy, their licensing alone wouldn't be worth it and to be honest it wouldn't suprise me if they also go after UEFA if they are accused of doing anything untoward.

That's very true a fact i've pointed out to the idiots on social media goes for the accountants as well the companies City use are not back street organisations One idiot suggested that City had bribed them

Ive been over this a few times. Tariq Panja is the NYTT journalist breaking these "stories". Panja started his journalist career at the Manchester Evening News, where he developed David Gill as a source I believe. Leaks are coming from a senior figure at UEFA and Leterme is quite insistent that they aren't coming from him or any other member of the CFCB. David Gill is not part of the CFCB so Leterme is technically correct that, if Gill is the one providing Panjs with information, the leaks aren't coming from that source.

Inadvertently therefore, by telling the truth, Leterme has made it quite clear who the potential source is.
No honour among thieves?

And now here's Knickerless* responding rather gracelessly having had Rabin point out to him the error of his ways:

For someone who's always bragging about being a reseracher with a PhD, he sometimes comes across as ... well, not all that bright. Unless, of course, he's just a liar. Or, of course, a bit of both.

* - I'm not normally a one for these juvenile misspellings or corruptions of names in the interests of 'banter', but I'll make an exception for this contemptible twat.

Isnt that what the bbc report said, does he write for them ?

It's all about words. If a lawyer questioned the IC members under oath all would say that they hadn't briefed the press. If asked whether they'd spoken to anyone else inside or outside UEFA about the specific case, they'd probably shrug and say they spoke to many people as part of the investigation and that they couldn't possibly know if any had briefed the media.
They would just parry it away.

Is this going to keep dragging on with Ceferin at the Madrid games, or will we get a decision soon now that CAS have released their finding's?
I don't think there will be any announcement until either we're knocked out or the season ends.

Just picture the night of say the Madrid home game, City going to court & 'banned' next season. The BOOOOOS would be nothing compared to what could happen.... pitch invasions etc UEFA really wouldn't want the defacing of a game which would although we'd be painted as knuckle dragging animals would make world headlines.

Without knowing the inner workings of UEFA it's difficult to say. Gill is UEFA Treasurer so may routinely have access to this sort of information or may have got it from someone involved in the investigation.

At the end of the day, Leterme isn't claiming that the leaks aren't coming from UEFA but only that they're not coming from the CFCB. As I've said, it's a careful choice of words.

But their own procedures dictate that the ongoing investigation will be confined to the CFCB and that includes UEFA, so the fact its probably Gill running to his bum chum at the NYT doesn't explain the initial leak from the CFCB to the wider UEFA community

Sorry if I've missed this or am a bit thick, but can somebody put me right on these questions :
1. Have the auditors appointed to look into our case delivered a written report to UEFA.?
2. Have City recieved a copy of this report?
3. Have UEFA told City exactly what they are charged with?

Who the fuck is Nicholas Mcgeehan anyway?

Is he another one of these bitter little twats who follow the rags or the mickeys or one of the London clubs and is a tad jealous?

Or is he just another two bob gobshite who thinks he knows the middle East like the back of his hand?

Looks like a bit of twat going by his profile pic.
Gobshite.

Prestwich_Blue, what your exactly saying is that, Leterme is being very economical with the truth, and is leaving it upto the press to put his words into any meaning that they want.
