This is what is bizarre about Liew.

How many clubs have challenged UEFAs authority by appealing to CAS just like City? Milan, Chelsea, Lyon, Arsenal, Galatasaray. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea all challenger FIFAs authority.

None of them were heralded as bringing about the end of the sport for pursuing a legal course of action agreed on by both parties

I'm stopping getting a paper from now on, usually get one a few times a week but not anymore. Every one of them has shown their true colours, the sheer hatred of Manchester City FC, no other club would be getting this venom aimed at them. Fuck em all, just fuck em all.

We have been picked out singly, and relentlessy, for ten years. I remember the first time we were drawn out of the CL draw - there was an audible groan throughout the hall! And throughout the ten years the RDAHMeedya have exhorted fans to get behind English teams in Europe. The whole stinking gutter press can fuck right off! They have not one iota that I would be interested in.

How long is the whole CAS appeal process likely to take. Chelsea's transfer ban was removed just before Jan 1st so is that over 6 months?

Indeed Neville talking sense, albeit about FFP as a concept being wrong. That is somewhat irrelevant since our chance to challenge FFP rules disappeared long ago. He does go on to say that he believes we will beat UEFA in the courts, his opinion isn't based on the facts of the case its because UEFA are "a hopeless organisation":-

That quote & I didn't watch him or the attached video suggests well win due to them being incompetent rather than us being in the right.

FFP is/will be a hindrance to Salford so he's got interests.

Very well said. Anyone who writes those words simply cannot understand what it means to support a football team. Of course, in the absence of any firm evidence to the contrary, City fans’ default position on going to be to defend the club against UEFA. To assume otherwise displays a discernible lack of understanding of the backstory to this last week’s events
So where does that leave Conn mate ?

Very impressed with what Neville had to say last night, I know some believe he did this because of his ownership of Salford but even so, he certainly put a solid argument across. Its just a shame that there aren't more like him in the media, who are willing to say what needs to be said, even if it puts them in a huge minority. It was clear the guy (Dave is it?) in the studio, wanted to move on as quickly as possible to a differing viewpoint, because it clearly didnt fit the narrative that City are a disgrace to football and life in general.

I imagine damages will be paid to MCFC, you know the plc with their name on the charge sheet.

Not sure if your just thick or wumming, I hope it's the latter.
I think where he comes from, the legal representative gets a cut of the proceeds, but only if they win the case.
