I would like people to not sink to the level that Liew & co. have accused us of sinking to.

How can we complain about newspaper coverage of City fans online when we start to abuse other people. I know there's a context but we should operate to a standard of behaviour even if the rest of the world does not.

Well, to be fair, we did break the rules. We admitted as much when we accepted the fine and squad reduction. Trouble is, this very much looks like we’ve broken the same rules and are being charged again. Double Jeopardy being applied long after EUFA had signed us off as being compliant. Hardly any of the media say this (most of them probably don’t know it, such is the standard of sports journalism in this country) and it’s that which is most frustrating.
 
@Ric should bluemoon consider forcing logins to view for a while ?. Given the press are now keeping tabs on us (Hi Nick and David) and using basically trolling / harassing and given the guardians lasted piece slandering/libelling us as a group of fans for having the audacity to have a pop at them is action needed . Or should we leave them to their sad little w@nkathon jobs having a pop at city and us fans (sometimes as individuals) ?

I think much of what that whopper posted can be attributed to his/her own club with regards to Liverpool's illegal hacking of our scouting system. 2 year ban in Scouse currency is 13 Italians. We don’t forget what they did but they like to conveniently erase it from memory.

My own view on this is that to completely ruin UEFA would play into the hands of those orchestrating this Parry , Gill et al ... After a successful appeal we have a very strong hand to play and could illicit some fundamental changes. It may be satisfying to render a delicious payback in by crippling the organisation but the wider game is still being played . At this point to stand alone ( which we are ) in a situation where there is no ruling body would be very dangerous to us.

EDIT .. with regard to the cretinous scum of the media thats a different kettle of fish altogether...

But if they suspend the ban pending an appeal and a club misses out on the CL as a result that could truly damage them. A member of CAS will look at our appeal and decide weather to uphold the ban or suspend it. This is all based on weather our appeal is likely to be won/or our case has merit. The actual appeal my not be heard for months

Looking at the previous CAS hearing it looks like we have a strong case and the ban will be suspended but you can never second guess what another person may think.
