As I'm new here I don't understand who is who yet but I see a lot of information that has been provided by Prestwich Blue including the link to Cheesy's interview with him. Is he ITK? Or just a fan who has done a lot of research? I'm curious as many seem to hold the information he provides in high regard, should it be taken with a pinch of salt or not?

RE: FW: FW: FW: Cool Arab secrets

Hey ****s,

Look at the gold Citeh have given us this time.

Regards,

Ruined Pinto.
There would be no gold, just an audit report stating whether we had breached ffp or not.

Saw someone write that if the shiekh had borrowed us 1 billion as a loan and left us with a repayement plan that kept us within permitted FFP limits in terms of income, but left us as a club in debt then that is consodered acceptable as a model by uefa.

Is that right and if so how fucking batshit crazy is FFP

mental right

But you can only bring a specific dispute to them. We couldn't go straight to CAS and complain about FFP & how it breaches EU Competition Law. They will take the relevant law into account in a dispute. They are not a court of law however.
I'm not suggesting that we do that. We are not fighting FFP, we are fighting whether or not we breached FFP. UEFA think Mansour paid the Etihad deal, City reckon they have irrefutable evidence that he hasn't.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was a big part of where the "failing to co-operate" bollocks comes from, I think we've lost all confidence in them to act in an impartial manner and told them to fuck off, we'll go to a professional and recognised sporting body.
With the benefit of hindsight, I wonder if the club now thinks they should have challenged UEFA the moment they changed the calculation format AFTER they'd given us advice and assurances and we'd submitted our accounts.

Wankers !
Do they need to be? City will select someone they think will act in the 'best' way, and that includes selection of the 3rd judge.
CAS pick the 3rd judge from their panel. Don't think the parties get to approve him/ her.

I just listened to that fat Geordie podcast, he was ranting and raving how we’ve cheated and not won anything fairly blah blah. Firstly he’s a Newcastle fan so this type of stuff just prevents his team ever competing, and do people out there genuinely think the rags, dippers and Chelsea ever won anything without spending money?

One more thing wasn’t ffp there to preven a Leeds and Portsmouth? This is nothing to do with preventing clubs go under, it’s so obviously about protecting a chosen few from new competition! If people want a football where everything is stale and predictable they can have it

the answer to your question is no. What happened to Portsmouth was that their owner used some sort of loan format to bankroll the club. However when his own personal finance situation changed, he recalled the loans leaving the club in the shit

even with ffp in its current format this type of situation is allowed if you are an owner

in regards to that Newcastle fan he and those he has preached too need to wake up. It seems that the uk population believe the tabloid articles peddling this story and that is worrying.

I don’t want other club fans protesting about us being sanctioned - we will deal with that ourselves. What they need to wake up too is that uefa and the cartel of clubs have made it a closed shop - this is what they should be protesting about

ffp is to stop clubs going bust , so (it wont happen) but how does ffp stop the bank from calling in its debt to say utds 500m ? If the banks called it in, utd or any club in debt, they would go bust ? So how does ffp stop the banks !!

It was originally mooted to prevent the Leeds/Pompey scenarios, then Utd, Milan, Bayern, Arsenal, etc realised how wealthy our owner is and used corruption and deceit to make ffp solely about protecting their status from clubs with 'new investment' in general and City in particular.

It has never been about fair play or protecting clubs from debt, but all about protecting those who traditionally made the most money from UEFA and CL sponsors.

We need to blow it away for good, then take the bastards to the cleaners, legally and subsequently in the transfer market.

I've listened to one or two of his shows, genuinely no idea how he had gotten so much popularity and clout. He comes accross as a total thicko and just talks in clichés and offers nothing new.

He’s either the Messiah or a very naughty boy, depends on the topic and who you listen to ;-)

Very knowledgeable on financial topics.

Totally crazy, but we signed up for it as all clubs who enter the Chumps League have to, so we have to adhere to it.

I don't think it does, FFP doesn't protect any club in debt, just encourages them not to spend more than they earn, obviously clubs with big revenues can spend enougth to be comercially successful to keep debt repayment up and have no threat from a bank, but still that doesn't help many clubs with debts who could easily go bust while adhereing to FFP.

As one punishment for FFP is heavy fines especially in the domestic leagues it can actually harm a club then help it, unfortunately twats like david conn ignore this and just look a how it has stoped overspend, but not tackled debt and clubs potentially unable to pay off banks and tax as originally planned

United, ie the Glazers will no doubt have borrowed the money on terms that preclude the banks calling in the loan, except on default.
In case of Portsmouth, the lender and the chairman were the same person, so no protection for the club.

I hope we really do have a rabbit in the hat for this fight. I was chatting to the fella I know that is well connected in a media sense and he said that the club are up for the fight but isn’t sure from what he has seen/been told from other journo’s that they have enough solid evidence to overturn this. They need something that has not been made public and need UEFA to have nothing else that hasn’t! It’s all Ifs and buts so no clear outcome. It would be a huge blow for us if this is upheld. Need thick skins at the moment and need to show the world what we are about in the upcoming games as it the fans that are the constant in this club. owners, players and managers come and go but the generations of fans have been with this club for years.
I was talking to someone who has had conversations with ‘senior people at City’ who was told we are very confident CAS will overturn it. That’s the problem though as nobody knows which way CAS will rule despite the mountain of evidence that appears to be in our favour. Fingers crossed that CAS does the right thing, but even if they don’t the club won’t just shrug their shoulders and accept it. We will take it to a higher court.

As you said those who enter the champions league, we had no choice to sign up for it and we have adhered to it as far as I am concerned, the e-mails are very sketchy imho and do not clarify who gave etihad the £52 million, CFG and ADUG or another entity in the emerati not associated with us.

welcome mate. @Prestwich_Blue is a fan who (I believe) is also an accountant. He sits on City Matters for Season Ticket Holders so regularly has access to the Club to a pretty high level (COO). I can only speak for myself but his research so far has been spot on. Forensic in nature and presented in a way the ordinary fan can understand. You need to make your own mind up but he is my 'go to' for anything on FFP.
