For that reason, in my opinion only total exoneration is likely to be seen as acceptable in the UAE.

In my view, I'd say they have the finger on the pulse of the vast majority of City supporters also.

I get what u r saying, but few points are clear - with this our reputation has taken a nose-dive , so even if you put it on a neutral channel per say and they ask question with a soft presenter - RIVAL FANS + this media will still say its Propaganda.

The AP correspondent would have the same response if Linekar took it as u suggest , would say something - Linkear asked soft questions / clearly managed interview etc.

It is an active case,there is no media we can trust not to edit it or even agree to let us have 100% control,fuck what the mecia think,they are all snivelling ****s,this was for us,investors,the staff and players

He Couldn't have made it clearer that there are two factions within UEFA and the whole business is political. This has been blindingly obvious for months if not years. I wonder how this will be reported in the mainstream media in the UK. Are they going to call Soriano a liar? It was a great statement. Didn't give our hand away legally but dropped a couple of hand grenades. It does seem clear that UEFA have just ignored our defence. FFS is it really true that UEFA have built their whole case on a few stolen emails (out of context) in a German magazine that has subsequently been shamed (in a different case) for literally making up stories? And those emails were hacked by a man who is in jail and faces trial on 90 charges of hacking, extortion and fraud. Is that all they have got?

Why on earth Harris expects the club to respond reasonably to any questions he puts to us after his recent performances in reporting 'objectively' on anything to with the club is way beyond me.

His attitude to the club is entirely duplicitous and disrespectful, so frankly I'm delighted the club is taking the position of ignoring his attempts to engage.

Why bother attempting to engage with someone who has demonstrated no intention to attempt anything approaching professional integrity or objectivity in his reporting?

Harris is beyond the pale. Nothing we could say would make him change his views on City. Too risky to have anything but an in house interview at these crucial times.

You’ve written a lot of good stuff recently but I think you’re wrong here.

Nothing to be gained by sitting in front of anyone other than in-house at this point, we’ve reaffirmed our position which is what the fans needed to hear, and we’ve sent a message to the people at UEFA that we are not shirking or scared of where we are at.

I think FFP was a conspiracy directed against only us from the start.

UEFA got us to commit to a system all our enemies were moderating.

Once they got us to sign up to FFP, they began their real objective of trying to destroy us.

Forensically going over all our sponsor revenue looking for discrepancies.

We can't do one now because it could undermine our own legal case with CAS. It is just too risky. We can do those after the case if we want. This was the right thing to do now because we can fully control the messages. It was designed to reassure our fans, investors, staff. The UK media can't be trusted to get it right. Another issue is that we may be plannng to sue some media operators after the CAS hearing. That will be harder if we co-operate with them now.
