Let's be honest, if he'd have stayed he would have probably played in the League Cup and the odd 5 minutes in League games.
He's a fine talent but at his age maybe he'd be better staying at Dortmund and at least playing regularly

That`s what they said about Felix? personally i prefer Hudson Odi, but i do remember England vs Portugal in the Toulon games and Sancho was very good but a lousy team player the Portugal LW was by far better, never found out his name?

He's clearly far more physically mature than Foden and at the moment just simply a better player. Plus Pep started Foden in some huge games last season, just don't think he's shown enough to get regular game time.

Got no doubts if Sancho stayed he would be regular in the current side. Him and Sane on together on each wing would have been ridiculous.
 
He wouldn't be ahead of Sterling or Sane if he had stayed. As salfordblue true mentioned in his post he isn't the greatest of team playes which Guardiola values very highly in his team.

Even Aguero doesn't start every week just the way it is with Peps constant rotation. He's 19 and putting top performances in the latter stages of the CL and getting double figures in goals and assists in one of the top 3 leagues in world of course Pep would love him ffs.

Which leads to the second bit of the post. He wasn't guaranteed a place (especially with the Leroy Sane signing).
