There were quite a few players playing their socks off tonight on the biggest stage in the world, but if I have to pick 1, it’s Gabby.

perfect all around performance, save for a couple of missed chances. However, his team work was second to none tonight.

He could, and should, have buried the first chance, and the second header could have been better, not to mention the volley at the corner kick.

That said, his goal was sublime, and his breakaway, which ended up getting Ramos a red card, might be a turning point in the tie.

KDB, Walker, Gundogan, Ederson, Fernandinho, Rodri, and evening the most frustrating City player EVER, Mahrez, all had strong games.

Have to say, I’ve skated Walker a time or two, but he may well be playing better, and consistently, than ever before. If he is fit, he simply cannot be left home for the Euros. He has to be AT LEAST one of the best two RBs in the country right now.

Also, it’s a travesty that there wasn’t an opportunity to vote for Pep as MOTM, as his formation worked well, created chances, and eventually won the day against a top, top team on their own patch.

I think I’m man of the match, just left a really nice club playing uplifting house without anyone gurning and looking threatening. Madrid’s a great town, it’s got sophistication and no pick pockets or Nigerian brass on your case like you get in barcelona. It’s 6.10am and I’m gurning...

Went for Walker, cos he completely nullified Madrid’s threat down the left. Had Vanicius in his pocket. Thought Gundogan was excellent too, as was Jesus, and Mendy gave a decent account of himself again as well. Less impressed with Rodri. Some sloppy passing from him

Gundogan was brilliant last night breaking play up and his work off the ball was fantastic . Kev ran the show and Jesus had his best game in a city top so far very happy City fan .

I'm going for Walker. Seemed to be everywhere, showed real fighting spirit and got his teammates going as well, something we've been sorely missing this season. I know others played exceptionally well but i feel Walker pulled the team together.
