Moreover, it is common ground/knowledge that Infantino not only intervened but brokered the 2014 settlement. I have asked Conn to confirm that he asked Cerefin to explain how come Infantino obviously did intervene in 2014 and how this can all be revisited again six years on https://spiegel.de/international/world/gianni-infantino-worked-on-behalf-of-manchester-city-and-psg-a-1236418.html

If you want to nail down Conn on 1 question it should be how he can explain how he can write that the Fair Skies document says Executive Council paid Eithad's sponsorship while also writing that the Jorge Chumillas email specifically says it's ADUG.

Its irrelevant (to the matter in hand) in my opinion

Who cares!

If the entire competition is suspended, there are probably only two clubs in the whole of Europe who will have the finances to take advantage.
The finance is only one aspect, I think we could attract and retain our players if it was a single year of suspension, but if it is extended, because of Coronavirus, that becomes a lot more difficult.

It will have fuck all to do with us or PSG and everything to do with a future takeover of say Utd and co i will guarantee it if they do change the rules yet again.
True. We have the example of FFP being changed to allow the Milan clubs to spend after changing owners while PSG and City had sanctions earlier for doing the same thing. Interestingly, City and PSG have done better than the Milan clubs since then, both on the pitch and financially.

In a crowded field, is there a bigger **** writing about City right now than Conn?
I hope he’s the first to be shown grovelling to the club and it’s supporters if we are proven to be innocent.
It’s quite amazing the work he put in regarding Hillsboro in an effort to show that Liverpool were innocent yet when the shit hits the fan regarding the club he supports, he’s the main instigator, stood in the front row, fingers dripping with it.
All the good work he’s done in the past counts for nothing anymore.
That Conn dude seems to despise your club with a passion. Why relate the City Cup victory with the money invested ? Real Madrid didn't win all their trophies because they were poor. The Great Milan of Berlusconi fall into the abyss after his cashflow stopped being funneled into the club. Those journos are acting as if most of the most successful clubs are not the most powerful ones on the economic side. They are either hypocritical or ignorant about this sport. And both are terrible for a journalist.

Ah but these clubs like to think they're special.

Do you think there's any racial element to the different way they treat City and PSG?

He's supposed to support City too. Just our luck that the one journalist that could at least print our side of the story just leads the fight against us.

No.

More like the old powers/old rich against the new richer money. Same way less rich nobles would despite way richer commoners who were trying to 'buy their way' into their class/caste. They felt the same way about Abramovitch but it took time to elaborate a scheme to stop other clubs doing the same thing.

Now, ask neutral fans, they see City and PSG as cheat and Chelsea as a legit big club. Pretty funny. The funniest thing is that among them are Chelsea fans despising both our clubs for what their own club did. They then say that the model has changed and they are sustainable now. Isn't it what our owners are doing too ? PSG 200 M QTA replace by Nike/Jordan, Accor and co. City looking for a new sponsor to replace (and upgrade) Etihad deal.

I'm thankful for our owners because even when they will leave, they'll let the club with strong structure, brand and income.
