My take on all this is, that this man made. The population of the earth is growing and it cannot sustain it. Pharmaceutical companies will make a killing once a vaccine is produced and I would have a bet that certain people will buy shares in such companies before a vaccine is announced

A certain scientific institute has already started gene splicing to decelerate the ageing process (tested on mice and proven) with a future goal to engineer genes to be created to be immune from future disease and prolong life - current rates have the life expectancy of the mice at +25% with increased energy levels

who do you reckon will get 1st dibs on that? The mega wealthy or the common person - it won’t be the latter

if becomes a pandemic over here I think I will be for it, had pneumonia a few years back so the knackers yard might be on the agenda
Can you link me this mice age programme?

Can he link to anything reputable for any of this?

Hint: the answer rhymes with “stuck low”.

No it won’t.

Ebola doesn’t kill everyone.
Smallpox came no where near killing everyone.
There will always be enough survivors to keep the species viable.

Correct — there are ways that the entire human race could be wiped out, but virus/bacterial pandemic is not one of them.

tin hat fuckwittery.

Close but no scavenged half-smoked cigar.
Think of all the possibilities, manufacturing would break down, the energy grid would fail, medical supplies would run out, along with food supplies... a couple of nice wars over the remaining resources could see us all off. Happy days.

Major civilisation could break down but the various tribes living around the world, in total isolation, will at least keep us going and there would be survivors everywhere.

The only thing killing the entire race is something that wipes the entire planet too.

Oh, I have, along with most of the world which is obsessed now with apocalyptic catharsis experiences via popular media.

But that still wouldn’t wipe all of humankind out.

Anyway, time to move on to a more pleasant topic...

Like how much food you have stored just in case things really go to ****. ;-)
