im not saying your wrong but- ''There is a reason why China went to such drastic measures'' as you say then surely the UK government knows full well it has to take the same steps and would do so,are they just taking a back seat and letting us get on with it then to come out and rebuild when its over

Just a heads up. People are turning up at Wythenshawe hospital. Getting diagnosed with coronavirus and getting sent home to self isolate and this is happening very regular. They're not being counted in the official figures. And this is almost on an hourly basis now. Nah is saving beds for the bad cases that need it

This is just one hospital so all the others will be the same


Before you call me a loon look at my first post in this thread and see what followed.

Went to my local shop for baby wipes for my daughter, all them had sold out too what a joke(he sells them for 3 times the price in Asda. You self isolate for 2 weeks if you get it ect buying a years supply of toilet roll is just pathetic.

Will wake the kids up early and go Tesco tomorrow before it gets busy I think.

i think maybe its because a hell of a lot of folk dont think there being truthfull so it does cause panic,Borris and this assistant health guy look like a couple of smalltime crooks IMO,now as you say 'you have kids' mine are grown up but if i was in your situation i would see that they had everything just incase now thats not pathetic its a natural reaction

My wife has worked on the icu unit for 30 years
Only today she has finished a long day
believe me you are talking verbal diarrhoea, you should be careful what you post regarding confidential information especially when it’s not true For your information the patient who was diagnosed with the virus at wythenshawe was transferred out almost immediately they have not seen 1,000’s of confirmed cases as you have stated total bullshit

Guess she wasn't told about the many cases sent home to self isolate then. Like I said I know what I know and many different depts there
