Depends if you want to keep close control of the game with Bernardo at his feet or have the constant danger of one chance and it’s a goal with Aguero.

Why is Zinchenko playing in midfield? Its leaving us open everytime Wan Bissaka bullies Sterling off the ball. We are much better when our full backs are making the pitch bigger and allowing our forwards to move with a bit of freedom. Instead our wingers are standing out wide whilst 3 cbs mark Aguero out of the game. Calling our set-up terrible is being kind

Safe to say whatever Peps plan was has not worked and all the questioning of the lineup pre match is justified. Sterling vs Wan bissaka is the very definition of a back pocket match up, he’s not once got by him in about half a dozen games, put him on the right or get him off. Foden anonymous too. All the possession is with our defenders, we don’t even look like getting into a shooting position nevermind scoring. Dinho/Rodri are a red waiting to happen now too, brain dead bookings from both of them.

The build up is too slow, making it really difficult to break them down and get the ball to Aguero in areas he can hurt them.

Hopefully Pep changes our shape at half time. First 20 minutes was encouraging but we didn't build on it.
