Cancelling the Arsenal game has now set a precedent , nobody actually knows how bad this virus can get , but it needs nipping in the bud , selfishly after the Real Madrid game all football should be shut down , its a game of football , kicking a bag of wind about not life or death , plus the Dippers would be traumatised , thirty years waiting for a league title an it gets cancelled , in Martin Tylers words ,you will never see anything as funny as this ever again

@skivitheblue9320 don't worry, when they have got culled enough of us elderly people so that they can ease the burden on the health service that we apparently cause and they won't have our state pensions to pay out thus saving even more money they will declare a state of emergency or somesuch!! Cynical moi............... never!!! :-)

Mods that is not a political statement so you do not need to move it to Off Topic. It is merely my (cynical) observation. Thank you.

One mustn't forget the pensions as well dear Eccles!!

If you want confirmation that our football authorities are totally incompetent have a glance at the twitter feeds and official websites of the Premier League and Football Assocation. Not a single shred of advice for football fans about the present impact on the game of Coronavirus. Not even a re-tweet of official NHS or government advice or any explanation of the policy for large sporting events. Remember we fans are the paying customers. It is as if they operate in a parallel universe. The governance of football in this country (and probably most of Europe too) is a disgrace. The game doesn't deserve our support. The PFA have put out advice to their players. What about the mllions of fans?
