If the MEN gets those changes (big IF), it won't even be the biggest in Manchester.Too late, it’s to be the biggest arena in Europe.

Would be a bit weird for them to do all the designs without any intention of actually doing the work, wouldn't it?
Bit like the Scousers and their £50M "project".Would be a bit weird for them to do all the designs without any intention of actually doing the work, wouldn't it?

Will they be able to write off the costs if it doesn't happen towards FFP??There is neither a timetable or any projected costs for this 'revamp'.
It's a low cost tactic to try to undermine the proposed new arena.

The uncertainty is temporary. I hope!will they even bother building the arena in this uncertainty?

Unless the Chinese come up with something else to screw us all over with.Al this will pass. Second half of the year will look very different.
with Intu facing tough times, be silly for any new arena/extension of previous to be opened
Not really. Intu's problems are a consequence of shopping progressively moving online. But demand for events is growing - or was until C-19 intervened. However, that should pass.
Thats up to OVG, they wouldn’t build it if they didn’t think they could find enough events to make it viable. Probably not just music either.we dont need another arena for music. MEN is rarely sold out as it is.
