If at all possible, most elderly people dont have a post mortum,if they did with those with respiratory symptoms they would be doing them 24hrs a day,it just won't happen

If the doctor cannot certify cause of death and issue a med cert then a post mortem will take place regardless of deceased age. The doctor has to know the particular illness that caused the death and also have seen them for their complaint within14 days. Just saying like and a very strict process : /

most have respiritary illnesses T,if they are expected to die of it that is what will be put on the certificate most likely, only if they do n't have a chest problem and they get an acute one then the virus will be considered

Olden folk die of a variety of illnesses including respiratory failure but all of them will have to undertake post mortem examinations if the doc has not seen them for their illness within the last 14 days.
