Where have you read this please?
For what it's worth my mate has a friend in Modena and she's said a couple of people in their 40s have died with no previous underlying health problems.
Where have you read this please?
Cheers obviously not caught up. Thanks for clearing that up.
The usual caveats about info on twitter apply but if that's true no wonder the Chinese think the virus was made in the USA, 100 x 1.4 billion is an awful lot of money!I don’t know if this is accurate or not
(Taken from Twitter)
“US Pharma Company Gilead has been working on a Vaccine and is close to one , it has been tested in Wuhan in China where the Chinese have asked can they make it and distribute it for free to everyone , Gilead said no they want up to $100 per vaccine”
I have not heard about them,i think we will be told the underlying conditions for everyone, people might have just had a toe nail removed and i bet they include that,it will be a brave man to say this is killing young fit heathy peoplethe Brit who died in Bali on holiday with underlying conditions was 53.
Yeah it's full of it. I'm glad you told me I was getting worried to be honest. I've got a little one myself. I'm gonna try and stay offline reading about it now and just get on with it.Some sick cunts online spread that vid as corona to scare everyone and it works.
60 million people die every year and nobody gives two fucks most of the time. A lot of your ‘42 million’ would be in that number naturally. I know it’s not a good thing that’s going on currently but I do wish people would stop making out that nobody ever dies and then this virus comes along and kills everyone very unexpectedly. If anyone wants some depressing reading then have at this:
https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/487489-worst-case-coronavirus-models-show-massive-us-toll
CDC “worst case” modelling at 1% fatality rate meaning that up to 42m could die globally, especially if health care systems are out under too much stress with too many needing intensive care at once.
But I’m sure we’ll have forgotten all about it come May as it’s just a bit of Flu.
As yet our local hospital has had many suspected but simply no positive cases. Like the rest of Spain we are in lockdown from monday onwards. Usual panic buying since last thursday but come monday we can only drive for fuel, cash, food or medical reasons. Police have extra powers to enforce this.Yes, there’s more information here for those interested and/or impacted:
PM due to make statement after seven-hour debate on state of alert measures
Draft decree includes banning all journeys in Spain apart from travel to work or to buy food. The delay on Saturday was reportedly due to differences between the Socialists and their coalition partners, Unidas Podemos

As I said in an earlier post, it’s getting difficult to plan for the care of elder members of my family in both the UK and Spain, especially remotely from the US, with it’s own daily changes. But we’re all facing these challenges and most of what is being done is genuinely needed to protect everyone, so it’s just a matter of doing your best at this point.

I saw an expert say we can give back to bats but as it stands no other animal transmission but they are looking at whether it can pass to and from cats and dogs, they use lab testing on computers a lot now as well
I was reading today there are 24 human volunteers that will not be given COVID_19 but another coronavirus as near to as possible and hope to get info from that which can be useful
Just said the same think, maybe this is what it needs though to make people realise how bad this can get.

It's a bit terrifying considering first we were told that people with previous health conditions or elder people are suffering the most from COVID. Now the age range is constantly decreasing.
The hard truth is you can't be sure. I keep myself to myself anyway, wore my gloves when i went shoping and used an automated till when the shop was quiet. So i have minimised the possibility of me being a carrier but i could easily have still picked it up and now be a carrier. It just lessens the risk to my parents, by how much is any ones guess.Apologies if already posted - according to this article, a frighteningly high percentage of people pass the virus on before they’ve even displayed any symptoms. So even if we feel fine, how can we be safe to check on elderly/vulnerable friends and relatives?

My point was it has been said over 80's,then over 70's,now it is over 60,it is getting lowerThe youngest UK death in the last 24 hours was in their late 70s and the oldest was in their 90s.
All had underlying health issues.
‘Underlying conditions‘ is such a nebulous term. It could mean he simply had high blood pressure.the Brit who died in Bali on holiday with underlying conditions was 53.
A very interesting story about the challenges of mouse trials for COVID-19 vaccine research:
