I offer the following video for those football-starved masses looking for a temporary distraction from current stressful situations — a documentary about one of the most beautiful, heartening, practical collective responses to a potential global catastrophe in recent history.

The fact that people from countries across the world were able to come together to stop this apocalyptic scenario from occurring should give us all hope in these darker times.

We should afford Liverpool the same class that their fans have given everyone else, and if they are given the league, it should have a huge asterisk above it.

While I understand his general thrust, this bit did give me pause.
Liverpool have been the best team in the league this season, and nothing that could have happened between now and the final day would alter that.

But I suppose Brennan is right, as Liverpool don’t have a history of losing the league after gaining seemingly insurmountable leads with a limited portion of the season to go.

To be fair his opinion is no different than quite a few posters on this very forum.As one of his biggest fans on this forum I personally don`t agree with him on this issue.

We award teams their position with 10 games to go as final result in 2015 Leicester are relegated and don’t win the premier league in 2016
only have to go back 4 years to see ANYTHING is possible

I'm not even having a pop at him exactly, he's probably been told to write this tripe.

Just very rich that we, and pretty much, the entire rest of the country should be respectful and give them what they want now it's looking like they might not get it, after months of chicken counting and vitriolically celebrating our europe ban.

In short, sod the lot of them, they're proper specimens.

Just imagine if this happened two seasons ago, how would we have felt? I suspect we would be crying foul at any suggestion of the league being null and void. It would have been a very bitter pill to swallow and to have seen all our amazing work undone in just a few days and to be denied a record breaking season and trophy would have been met with dismay and anger.

However as its the Dippers I would wank myself into oblivion if the season was cancelled. Fuck em, the scouse twats.

We would but having won it before it wouldn’t have been as bad as it is for them, the Corona VARus season has done the Incurables
