The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

No one else has posted on here that they have it, so from a city point of view it looks very much like you are patient zero - should be worth a mention when @Gary James does another book.
i have had loads of messages,i am not the only one on here that has tested positive, you blokes are not good at sharing health stuff and a lot of people on here know each other in real life and don't want to be identified in any way

Asda eastlands late afternoon, no fresh milk or uht, no eggs, cereal and crisp aisles hammered. Didn't look at pasta or rice.

Interestingly advice from France is that ibuprofen may make virus worse, paracetamol is preferable
All ibuprofen hoarders have wasted time
Was thinking that the other day surveying the empty shelves where painkillers are normally found as any asthmatic knows ibuprofen and other NSAIDS are a no go

I'll panic if they shut the pubs and supermarket shelves are stripped of ale

I'm sure some of the messages are genuine, but am afraid you may be being groomed in your weakened state. Have any of these people asked for your address and how much bog roll you have in by any chance?

Do your shopping on Wednesday or Thursday. Seems like the panic buying is mainly at the weekend and then they restock

And he’s quite happy to maximise his profit and fuck anyone who can’t get a chop because some **** in front spent £hundreds (your words).

It’s the stock piling of paracetamol that has really annoyed me. I went to a few shops today to find some as my son isn’t well and couldn’t find any anywhere.

But your local butcher won’t run out they can usually restock in a couple of days if they buy their meat locally. Unlike supermarkets they will have a short supply line that probably only supplies a few butchers . Unlike supermarkets that use big meat processors.
Dont know about other areas , I’m in quite a rural area but supermarkets are out of stock of stuff but the local butchers, green grocers, bakers and convenience shops are fine. As the shop in the village down the road put on facebook if you want to panic buy toilet rolls we have plenty in stock.
