I think we need a photo where the elephants are all 1.5m apart ;)
I think if they’ve got the symptoms they should be treated the same as anybody elseYou’re right, it is grim. But what is the alternative? Send them home? Tell them not to come into work at a time of national and global crisis?
I don’t know the answer. What do you think?

Are you a head in sands or want to know every detail sort of person?I can barely even sleep. At times I just can’t believe this is happening, like it has to be a nightmare. It will be a long time before life is normal again.
I know. That is reassuring to be honest.
As I've mentioned earlier in thread. I won't be seeing my mum and dad for months now and neither will my kids.
It's just not worth the risk of me or the kids somehow passing it onto them.
They have closed the schools here so that puts my part time work out of the window. My private job has had to stop working too. I'm doing security shifts instead to make up for lost moolah
The zoo's have closed up, schools, casinos and talk about the bars next
Supermarkets have been mayhem. I did actually have an Armageddon basement ready, my wife always called me a nutjob, now she knows why I stashed 200 cans of beans, spam, corned beef, noodles and tuna, most expired in 2010, taste not waste!! Who gives a shit
Arrrgh shite man. I been avoiding the news as much as possible. Lucky I got a pint in Friday!! Thanks for info!Just been told that they are going to shut er down tomorrow mate. All businesses except groceries, pharmacies and hospitals.
I can’t chill out. I’m not wired to be easily chilled, wish I was it would have saved me an awful lot of suffering over the years. I agree with you though, except for the point about the gravity of the situation not being lost on anyone... 1 out of 4 people are not changing their behaviour in any way whatsoever. It’s evidently lost on a large number of people.
All a can say is I’ve never encountered a problem that’s been helped by worrying about it, take all sensible precautions but don’t let it engulf you.I can barely even sleep. Think it’s to do with having a weakened immune system....But it's a respiratory disease.
That's like counting arthritis, a joint pain, or an ingrowing toe nail, as an underlying issue.
I will find out from the consultants tomorrow, when I'm in.
That would seem sensible. But I expect that you would have to take a rest to prove that you have had itI am in the 70+ bracket - if I catch it and survive will it be ok to ho out and about again with immunity?
If they do force 70+ year olds to stay in doors, will there be exemptions and how would they be decided? I imagine the Queen is automatically exempt, but what about Charles and Phillip. And, for example, Jeremy Corbyn? Presumably the House of Lords will have to close. There must be quite a few 70 year olds carrying out important roles where their absence would cause serious disruption. What about the clergy, many of whom would sadly be conducting funerals, albeit perhaps in private. Can’t see Roy Hodgson getting an exemption whilst football is suspended, but what about those still running businesses, large or small? Who would decide?
