Im really hoping slow burning leukaemia isnt a co morbidity for this one. My sister in law was diagnosed with it a few years ago.

I hope so, too, as I have recently met a few people, including a 12 year-old (ALL), with leukaemia.

The last thing they should have to worry about at this point is avoiding this new virus.

But, then again, you can apply that to many, many people. :-(

We are 2 weeks behind Italy ffs. Last week he said 4, now 3, next week he’ll say 2 weeks which we’ve all been saying for ages. They don’t have a clue. Inconsistency after inconsistency.

I am not sure if I need to do this 12 week thing, I have chronic asthma and my lungs are constantly fucked with me bein put on steriods at some point most years.

Not sure if asthma is being classed as a serious health issue, but as it is a lung issue I have no clue if I fit the bracket of isolation.


Same I have a staff memeber whose medication gives her a weak practucally zero immune system but her condition isn't kidney or heart related

my wife ,works in nhs ,poorly with cough since saturday night,told to self isolate when she rang her department this morning for 7 days,i was already in work ,nhs,at 6 am
now ,anybody living with anybody in self isolation,must stay isolated too for 14 days

i warned the storm is coming on saturday
been told what the nhs is preparing for this maelstrom,it is frightening in the extreme

Goodricke is now on Campus East. The old Goodricke is now part of Vanbrugh College. The best place on campus is probably Courtyard (in the Derwent Quad) or D-Bar. Though, the Charles remains one of the better places in and around campus.

The one country who've really tackled this pandemic and look to be in control is South Korea. They clearly achieved this through extensive testing. The WHO have encouraged extensive testing.

But can leukemia go undiagnosed? Sorry but i don't have a lot of information about this. Shouldn't the boy have felt something more serious symptom-wise than just coronavirus/

Unfortunately it happens.
My late son spent years having blood test after blood test at a certain hospital on the east of Manchester then one on north edge with treatment for other problems.but only got correct diagnosis at Manchester Royal.
I think it depends on what the doctors or consultants ask for at blood testing stage.
