All those saying it’s fine or they’ll not listen and do what they want should understand that medical facilities are so overrun that they are now deciding who lives and who dies based on age. 60 isn’t even what I’d consider old.

But the masses are not getting this. From my mini-experiment this afternoon I’d say I got at least a funny look from about 75% of the people I walked past. Without even saying owt to me I could see in their faces what they were thinking (“haha come on you fool, think you’re taking it a bit seriously aren’t you?”)

I saw one other person with a face mask on. He gave me a nod! Haha

Might be wrong P.C,it might be because of the latex gloves,nudge nudge wink wink..
Down the smoke you see a lot with mask on to be fair..

They sure did to some tune! I have friends in Tenerife they are confined to home. Walk the dog, one person can go to a supermarket/chemist, empty the bins and that's it. No driving or going for a walk. Most live in apartments so must be going stir crazy and they've just extended it another two weeks.

Yeah no fucking about mate and the way the staff looked after us was brilliant and we was only self catering I just feel for the people as tourism is their only income.
 
Looking at pictures. There’s barely any social distancing going on. Thousands of people in parks, beaches and shops.

unless there’s a full lockdown. Hundreds of thousands of people could potentially die

60 at the moment. When will it become 55? Or 50? or 45? If you are overloaded by 8x, which is coming unless these utter wankers we've seen in some of the pictures above, stay indoors, then the "cut off" is going to have to come down lower.

not sure myself. i think they are genuinely trying to balance minimising the spread, preserving the economy, morale of the nation, and huge chunks of the poupulation being culturally retarded and utter twats.

The mentality to deal with this as an 'all coming together' attitude is just not there. No level of enforcement or lockdown will change that.

Agreed, moved here about 7 years ago from Australia and am now a dual passport holder, so consider myself both Brit and Australia. But I've been genuinely embarrassed by how both the government and people have responded to this.
