500,000 people die every year in the UK. I imagine the vast majority without any kind of post mortem or tests done. That was certainly the case with my dad. I was there when the doc signed his death certificate.

They need to know whether they’ve had it or not. There’s home office guidance on what steps to take to protect yourself whilst performing an autopsy and or swabbing a body suspected of having the virus. They also need to know to trace who might have come into contact with them before death. There is no value whatsoever to underplay the numbers, especially if ‘George’ is one of them. The more patients they can describe as succumbing to the virus whilst having multiple co-morbidity’s the better, from the Governments perspective at least.

Indeed they will. What I am sure of is that our data will be the most comprehensive available, once this is over.
 
People seem to revel in disobeying what they are told to do, Boris should come out and say ok everyone go out and hug each other, everyone would stay inside then.

Watched a few episodes of the Goldbergs with them, made a paella with the box of rice nobody could be arsed to strip from the shelves.

We spent today playing footie and throwing the American Football in our garden, followed by a family HIT session on my daughter's gymnastic mat.

Beautiful sunshine and speaking to my own mum on the Portal.

It is a shame plenty won't have a garden at home, it would put paid to a lot of the wanderlust going on at present?

Just me and the wife to consider but not a million miles away from our Sunday events.
First of all caught up with virus news on BM and Spanish TV and other UK news programs.
Garden maintenance including about 20 barrow fulls of a local plant we know as hotten totten which was threatening to take over the whole garden. Left it just outside our land for our near neighbours with 400 goats who make short work of most vegetable matter.
Then a bit of chainsaw work on a couple of young palm trees that needed their deadly lower branches removing and chopped into 6 inch strips to pack into heavy duty bags for basura bin (even the goats leave this deadly spiky debris alone).
Orange trees next. Can't believe how big the navel oranges are anyway end of growing season so pick them then wife reduced tree volume by 50 or 60 percent. Again branches food for goats. Lemons next but they are much more prickly than oranges but no problem for the goats.
Afternoon catching up with virus info then watching a few episodes of a US DIY program ( Brothers or something like that).
Dogs out and about with us so no need for walking them.
Evening partly talking and relaxing on due south facing patio but a little chilly after dark so tv at night with a couple of glasses of red wine.

Life on lockdown is not that bad.
 


I don't know if this belongs in the political thread but how the hell is this allowed? Why is hospitals charging their employees to come to work and park their cars just a thing that's normal?
 
TBH i just want us to go into lockdown now to get away from these tossers,go shopping in a controlled maner and not having some dick head cough in your face which happend to me this evening
