Now most shops will be shut. Which is what I said

The public won’t gather, hopefully, as they did over the weekend. Hope the public now use common sense erm... not exactly strong

The police can fine people for being in the presence of someone they don’t live with or more than two people. Unless it’s family do we have ID cards or have to carry a utility bill to prove where we live?

It’s a step in the right direction but we probably need more, which I think we’ll get in a few days. Why do it quicker it’s only dead folk

In fairness comments regarding Johnson’s latest actions seem appropriate this evening no?
I’d agree with you.
However the poster in question has posted a never ending stream of bile for several days.

He’s also admitted that its aimed at this current Government alone which suggest its more about his ideology from afar than the serious concern the British public have.
Surely his main concern should be the country he lives in, their crisis and their response?

The police had no power previously.

Now they do.

As I’ve said in my last post, it still won’t work properly and there will be full house arrest but for one trip to the shop every other day, I reckon soon enough.

I don’t blame him for being hesitant to go so authoritarian straight away though.

The police may have the powers but don’t have the manpower. Most European countries have national/federal police (Civil Guard, Gendarmes etc) that overlays the regional police so they have double our numbers and an infrastructure to rely on. Also ID cards are habitually carried, in some countries it’s compulsory, so tracking and monitoring is easier. We have a much more haphazard and loose structure.

Govt is relying on people finally obeying the instruction and common sense kicking in.

Not only does my employer want me in, once I am in he wants me to go 140 miles to do a job tomorrow .

This is all a cause of great concern to my lad. Who just happens to be, a self employed brickie with underlying wealth issues.

This is wrong.

New Gov't advice is you can leave home to go work, even if not a key worker, to do a job that you can't do from home.

No you've missed the point. That screenprint is from a video they initially posted, which had that incorrect information in. They then deleted it...AN HOUR LATER and replaced it with the video the guy was replying to.

I agree with the jist of this mate and I'm probably the same as Jay sometimes, but that comes from still having many family and friends back in uk.

Mike Ashley's written a statement saying they're essentially staying open on the premise that the sale of exercise equipment for people to exercise with is essential.

In other words; Mike Ashley is a ****.

Mike Ashley literally doesn’t give a fuck about his employees and their families’ lives.

Fat odious cretin.
