Totally agree with this.

The work point has left me pretty angry actually.

I can only imagine this is unfolding that quickly that they can’t get the measures in place to pay companies right this second, if all work stops.

I genuinely think this is like a man drowning but the water continues to rise and rise and the more he struggles to do the right things the more it rises.

I don’t necessarily blame them for it, no PM has had this for 75 years.
I'd say ever, a war doesn't rush at you like this generally either, it's a much slower build to the maximum.

It is not that difficult really, you know if you are in a key job or not or if you can work from home or not,the employers know what help they are getting from the chancellor, also if you have symptoms you just say no,i am isolating as instructed, the only problem i really see is the self employed, that does not seem clear
this is keeping as many people off the streets as possible, just take responsibility and do what boris is asking

It was, most of us said so too, but the spanish government had already fucked up by then, yet you are living in spain attacking our governments approach, which may have been too slow too, but its not as slow as the one you live under, so go figure...

It’s a lot slower in the UK! I haven’t left the house for 11 days, Madrid even longer. The UK government had the experiences of China, Italy and Spain to consider and still waited long after most of the world’s major countries to go on a ‘lockdown’.

Gives them a bit of wiggle room. Tomorrow will have more clarity, loads of wankers will flout the rules, then we get stricter conditions by Weds etc etc

Well as Jenrick has tweeted and confirmed construction sites can remain open, Ashley expects Sports Direct workers to clock in, all emergency services workers and workers in shops that sell food and medicines will be going into work it may be hard to define and identify those wankers if they exist at all. The restrictions are so loose I'd expect most of those who went to work today will go tomorrow. They aren't being wankers they are just being compelled or allowed to.

The problem with this, Karen is it's been proven over and over again that many are incapable of taking responsibility.

And each day costs lives, its frustrating as fuck.
Unfortunately mate, this country is jam packed full of absolute bellends, and consequently everything is done with that firmly in mind. I know it’s frustrating but they are speaking to the masses, not the people of bluemoon.

I reckon Churchill’s situation was quicker and graver but generally you’re right about wars.

When he took over in 1940, within days our entire army was being pushed into the sea and surrounded, seemingly about to be lost, Europe had been totally taken over and some of his Cabinet were pushing him to surrender and make peace with Hitler.

All this whilst Churchill not appreciating how warfare had changed from WW1.

Somehow he came out smelling of roses and I just hope Johnson can do the same.

So go complain at them then, we may have been doing better than the country you reside in. The point squirty is making, which you seem to be missing, is that while we might not be getting it totally right, we are doing better than where you chose to live, so coming here to slag the UK off is just wrong.

ha

ve you actually read the official guidance rather than hang out on twitter. There is a government website that you might like to visit.

That is literally the government's official twitter account. It's literally the PM's account. Are you telling people not to trust that critically important source of information?

The advice wasn’t key workers though. It was go to work if you can’t work from home and it’s necessary.

When you have mouths to feed and a dick head boss ordering you in what are you supposed to do?

I think it’s purposefully ambiguous so that some still go in and the economy doesn’t totally collapse.
