I'm sure we will be able to do that. And the more O think about it, the more I suspect that us not asking for a suspension of the ban via CAS is a 'who blinks first' tactic. If UEFA don't suspend the ban, we miss out on CL but it's subsequently set aside by CAS, then we sue the arse off them. Their finances don't appear to be that healthy so that could potentially be fatal for them. Even better, they might have to significantly reduce CL prize money, which will hit the ****s Cartel.

If, as we suspect, UEFA's case is (literally) paper thin, then they won't want to risk that happening so they'll hopefully suspend the ban unilaterally & we can then say "Well we didn't ask for that"
Hi Colin, thanks for the post.
Re your recent post indicating UEFA do not even comply with FFP themselves, perhaps saying they are strapped for cash, what point is their in suing for non existent cash?

I really don't think ethnicity comes into it, the fact 8 clubs with owners from all over the globe sent letters tells me capitalism is the only thing that matters. These guys are English, Iranian, Russian, American, Thai, Portuguese/Chinese, that is quite the mix. If your owners were from Iceland or Turkey I don't think it would make one jot of a difference. I include Sheffield Utd in that, any decision they made is based on long term economic thinking, how will it benefit them or their owner. Pounds, dollars and euros wherr considered by all 9 clubs, not one club considered fairness.

I'll ask a question of those that think ethnicity played a major part. If Man Utd or Liverpool ended up in Saudi hands would the rest of the league/media base any decision concerning them on their own owners ethnicity or what their brand can do for them financially?

In respect to your last paragraph, I’ve no doubt that the Saudi’s would be portrayed as paragons of virtue simply because they own Manchester United.

Daily Express saying city were surprised by Liverpool’s involvement.

I find this very hard to believe, anyone with any sense at all knows they’re very close to the heart of it
It's only five months since the last letter circulated to other clubs by LFC urging the Premier League to take action against us in addition to the UEFA ban. It is no surprise to City. City know how the leaks came out of the UEFA investigation, how the computer hacking happened, all about the private briefings to media here in the UK and the US. The ongoing dirty tricks campaign by Liverpool Football Club is well established and goes back years. The club is pure poison.

Welcome to the wonderful world of American sports franchises.

The older I get , the more I lose faith.

The media are shit scared of criticising LFC , probably due to threats of lawyers etc, but they are never going to reveal what a disgusting club they really are.

Their fans have history for their crimes, but I get the impression that thingswithin the club have changed for the worst with the John Henry ownership era . Clearly there is murky history within sport he is connected with in the US, and I suspect that this type of shit has been carried over into the roots of LFC.

I certainly hope City have enough ammunition to expose them for being behind some serious shit before too long.

Courts never take into account - the ability to pay. If we win substantial damages then UEFA will have to stump up even if that bankrupts them. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.
