We did the same with Savic and Nastasic, both of whom looked to have the potential to be regulars and certainly no worse than Demichelis, Otamendi or Mangala. Nastasic never seemed to be forgiven for the cock-up with Joe Hart that gifted Chelsea a winner even though it was just as much Joe's fault.

Great game that: 0-0 going into the final minutes and even though the game was lost to a blunder; I enjoyed it immensely and was impressed by Nastasic.

Whatever happened with Nastasic, it wasn't about what he did on the pitch. I'm 90% convinced that there's stuff we don't know about, behind the scenes.

think we came 5th but not sure

Pretty sure we had two 5th and one 9th place finish under Reidy and Sam Ellis. We'd have killed for those sorts of season in the mid-late nineties.
