Strange that the measure of how much money we'd save on leaving Europe was in how many hospitals we could build with the spare cash. Now we're on the brink of leaving were having to do just that,,,,,,,,

In other thoughts it's all very well the chief Exec wanting the CAS case heard by video call but he won't be there in all reality it will be the QC and his entourage (avoiding term of "legal team" for obvious blue moon reasons).

Ha, yes I thought that. “The fear is that they will be able to delay any punishment and — should they win the appeal — get off scot-free, which would be outrageous”. I reckon his ‘source’ is James Pearce or Scott the Red.
Wow, imagine getting off scot-free after being shown in a court of law to have done nothing wrong. The outrage.

What he's actually saying there is that he wants to punishment to take place quickly just in case it turns out we've done nothing wrong. Which basically sums up this whole situation. Other clubs jealous of our success and looking for any way to punish us for it, regardless of whether we've broken any rules.

I wonder whether UEFA change their tune regarding City, in light of the ongoing pandemic? With all the money going out of the game, they may decide they need us, in order to replace shortfalls elsewhere.

Surely, a club having the ability to spend more than it receives is a good thing, to put money back into the game?

If only it worked like that.

They divvy up the pot in a fair equal way only some always remain more equal than others.

Oh they need us they’ll be dreaming up new fines as I type this no doubt!

I've no doubt they'd happily let us bail out football which when back on its feet they'd be going for us again.

We need to get this shit boxed off both at CAS & then push it further into the courts.

If we are ok that this farce is conducted by video conference, we must be fucking confident!!! Which is great news!! :-)

Be great if it ends up like this (women put filter on and forgot to turn it off )

I agree with most of the comments that have been put up. There is one person I would go for that is the guy who started all of this. Who now is locked up in a prison in Portugal. let's get him over here once he has been released, and then take him to court for all the money he has When that is ocver then have him locked up again by the British court.

Manchester City - Innocent until proven innocent!

Be interesting to see how strong the push is, if at all, for the relaxation of FFP, to allow all the owners to put their own money into their clubs, especially in the Prem.

Let's see Kroenke, Levy, Glazer, et al, put their money where their mouth is, after hiding behind FFP for so long.
