I would rather say he's genius. His words and behaviour are of the kind American nutcases who vote for him want to hear. He is just exploiting that. There is no way he is religious conservative redneck, he led extremely liberal way of life before politics. I’ve visited 26 states across that country and I have an incredible nose for great bars in rough areas, it’s one of my great gifts in life; so I’ve seen plenty over there.

Very nice percentage of right wing voters are like that. I know some will get offended by this and of course, there are few, lol, normal ones, but anywhere in the world you'll find a significant percentage of right politics voters who are absolute dumbfucks. And unfortunately, that percentage is often the one that on the end decide who wins the elections.

I'm personally ideologically pretty conservative, but right wing parties will never ever in my life get my vote again. Because they are cunts who exploit dumbness to spread divide and hate for their ultimate goal of getting personal financial gain. And that's what Trump is doing with people from that video. Right wingers are cunts. Most of politicians, on the left too, are cunts, but at least, left ones are somehow civilized cunts.

Only time I’ve been in to Florida (and yes, to my shame I included it in the 26) was to this complex called Flora-Bama (yes, really). Only went 200 metres in, at most.

There is a very good section on this in the book fire and fury. Trump has run before and each time in the past it has been mostly a PR stunt. He has always been a perception and PR driven person. He has limited understanding of detail things but if he sees his face in a magazine then he likes it. So to some extent it was all about PR and slagging politicians off - things he likes.

But deep down he wanted to win where most of his family and team did not - they had made no preparation for winning and tghe campaign had been conducted on the basis he would lose - the Russian thing was very real and if he had lost who cares?

There's not a single definition of genius that includes Donald Trump.

People still don't understand that what got him elected was not anything he or his campaign did particularly well, it was that they - usually through massive blunders - revealed that he's a racist, mysogynistic piece of shit and so are the modern republican voting base.

He won because the other republicans were still holding up the old veneer of respectability and Trump accidentally said the racist stuff out loud, found out it was popular, and carried on.
