Is chippy boy a carpenter or touchy and defensive, on account of having a grievance or a sense if inferiority? (dictionary definition).

More seriously though, these arguments are pointless. They are mainly based on mutual misunderstandings. Reading dominalo and chippy posts for example I can just about decipher each other's points. But the arguments don't work by posting and reading. A bit like emailing or talking, there is a big difference.

i would like to know the actual figures for flights arriving in, where they are from and exact reasons why - rather than just someone saying it's happening without providing any proof.

it's not point scoring, i'm generally interested especially as so many airlines are on the brink of collapsing and millions of jobs in the air industry are on the balance

you can google right,i doubt very much you will get specific numbers because that would need someone to keep track of all of that and put it in one place,maybe if you went through every airline or gov website,even then you won't know the reason why every individual is coming here,flights are down that is for sure

I live near the airport and an absolutely fucking gigantic military plane has just took off . 4 huge engines enormous thing . It was quite shocking as planes aren’t really going and then this beast flys over

Viruses NEVER go away. They remain with us and we combat them thru immunity, whether naturally developed or created in the lab and delivered by needle.
When we have developed immunity, the crafty little buggers evolve, adapt and attack anew.

Just heard a guy I worked with on the ships has died. He retired a few years ago and was in his 70's. His son said the cause of death is COVID-19 but I do know he had been battling cancer for some time, although he was living an active life with it. So sad.
