TV Series

Last episode is a good example of the below. The shoot out scene in the desert was brilliantly scripted but the acting, in particular Odenkirk, was just phenomenal. We know he will survive, and that just makes it harder for him to act it as well as he did. The consequent trek through the desert is a real cliffhanger.

It’s slow. Much slower than breaking bad. No doubt.

But the writing is brilliant. The acting outstanding. It’s a series you’ve got really focus on. There is a lot of detail within it despite the slow burning.

I wasn’t sure they’d pull it off, on the face of it the story never seemed like it would work after breaking bad.

Horses for courses. It’s been critically acclaimed in each season and non have fell below 95% I think.

It’s worth the perseverance, as long as you give it your undivided attention.
Gommora if you have not already seen it. Best show ever made, imo ofc.

Yes to Gomorrah, what a show. I’ve said it on here a few times but Boardwalk Empire too if you haven’t seen it. Seems like you’re okay with a slow burner which it is, but it’s worth it.

I’m starting to think that having amazon prime instead of Netflix is a mistake.

There are still some very good shows on Prime, just not as many.....The Americans, The Expanse, Justified, Mr. Robot, The Boys, Halt and Catch Fire, Bosch all definitely worth a watch.
Undone and Tales From the Loop both look interesting too.

Sneaky Pete is very good too.

i'm nearing the end of series 5,watched every episode on my own & i'm still waiting for it to get going, tbh pal i've found it fuckin torture but i've got this far so i've got to see it through lol

I’ve now watched five episodes of The Tiger King.

Whilst I accept he’s a raving egomaniac, I don’t find Joe quite as deplorable as the likes Carol, Jeff and ‘Doc’ Antle. Prior to
Travis’s tragic death
he did seem to genuinely care about the animals.

home before dark on Netflix is a great watch. and the young kids in it are great and the main young girl is fantastic

where did you find it? Cheers
On my dodgy box but it's on the android apps like Cinema HD and TeaTv

At the risk of making myself a laughing stock, I just started watching Schitts creek and it's piss funny. Only seen two episodes so that's my excuse if it's total shit.

we just started to binge through this as well, Its excellent so far.

Haven't been on here in weeks because of the lack of footy but working from home has allowed me to catch up on quite a bit. Current season of Better Call Saul has been fantastic and Ozark really rebounded well in season 3. Finally getting around to getting through Madmen and just finished season 3 yesterday where the pace is certainly starting to pick up
