Read again what Khaldoon has said about the procedure followed by UEFA and read what he has said about our evidence. Why don't you believe him? Then there's the double jeopardy angle to the case. Then there's the way UEFA applied completely different standards to the Juventus deal with Jeep. Oh and the treatment of PSG and the appointment of their chairmen which suggests strongly that there is a campaign against City specifically. Then there's the clause 101 of TfEU which makes FFP unlawful and unenforceable. Is that enough for you?
Re the meeting of the three stooges, we can surely ask for the minutes of the said meeting to determine what exactly was on the agenda.

100% it's enough for me. It was from the start but I've seen enough of Court hearings over a 40 year career to know that both sides in a Court believe they have cast-iron cases but one side still loses.

The truth is, none of us have seen the evidence, alleged "leaks" from within the club no matter how well intentioned, have invariably been wrong.

I hope to God you are right but hoping for the best but preparing for the worst seems to be the right approach to me.

Get your point , a long angonising and painful affliction is perhaps more appropriate ?

Him seeing his team struggling is hurting him big time and why he has done everything in his power to stop us and change rules in premier and Uefa! What would hurt him most is Man City winning there case and keep the scum playing second fiddle to us for the rest of his life!

The PSG and Juventus reps are there having been elected by the European Clubs Association, and have no voting rights. UEFA hasn't appointed them.

Well, we've also heard that UEFA don't have the emails but only the snippets quoted in the Der Spiegel articles and that City were punished for not cooperating with UEFA's investigation. Again an assumption but this was thought to be because City would not provide UEFA with the actual emails. If this is true it would leave the UEFA case based on precisely nothing other than a handful of stories in a German publication of little standing. UEFA are going to have to produce some evidence in CAS and City seem adamant that they haven't got any.
That, I think, is what Tolmie posted but you have gone with a little more detail than I remembered. If that is the case they dont have much do they.

It is for me. Just an aside, but would a very expensive brief who could get work anywhere after his brexit job (no I am not going there so dont anybody else, please) really risk his reputation on a basket case or would he think he could enhance his reputation with such a high profile case, a bit like George Carmen did with his Ken Dodd defence.

My hat, Sir, were I wearing one, would usually be tipped in the general direction of The Blessed Prestwich Blue (‘may his tribe increase’) for his detailed eviscerations of the venal sports media and all the tribal johnnies from other clubs who think they’re going to get one over us at the end of all of this.. however, for this timely contribution, please be assured that, for this weekend at least, my hat, were I to be wearing one, would be tipped in your general direction..
General?

;-)

If you are correct then we just need CAS to do the right thing, dump UEFA and the cabal members firmly on their arses ,and watch the festering pile of over-hyped shite fucking around in mediocrity whilst losing their billions of lemming followers and sponsors.

Gill and the Glaswegian despot would then spend the remainder of their natural in utter torture and misery.

An obvious but important point: we have not seen the evidence, the press have not seen the evidence, the hateful eight have not seen the evidence. That's what counts.

I think that many of our supporters and posters on here have a rather ill defined fear because we have had an appeal ruled inadmissible. UEFA have certainly managed to put the wind up many who are sympathetic to City and convinced them that "City must have done something". And yet when we sit back and look objectively at how they've done all this what is striking is the lack of substance to our fears.

There are compelling reasons for believing that FFP is not consistent with commercial law throughout Europe but even if we accept its validity it is almost certain that the club and its owners have done nothing to breach the regulations, let alone the law. All of this anyway relating to events already dealt with in the settlement of 2014 and now to be dealt with in a process controlled completely by UEFA. City have been dealt with behind closed doors, no evidence produced but a series of highly prejudicial leaks over a period of more than a year followed by a verdict confirmed in a hissy fit because City didn't "cooperate". Guilty - though we're not entirely clear what the charges are or what the evidence is. Presumably the club know and they are openly scornful. Are UEFA, so secretive, so reliant on leaks but so silent on substance, really so confident that their case will stand up to the full glare of open, independent and objective court?

Let us all hope we are right but, as fans, we should also prepare for the worst (as I'd expect the club to) which, in the scheme of things, really isn't the disaster our enemies like to hope.

We all know that 2 of the hateful 8 which KS55 speaks of are the two teams that play in red at either end of the East Lancs Road. Then throw in Bayern, Real and Barca. For now I can't think of who the other 3 are.

Revenge comes more sweetly to those who wait. Let's all remain calm and leave it all to CAS, to give their own judgement. I know all this waiting is getting painful and we all want to see it all come to end. Then once the case is over and should we win. Then the time will come to go after all those clubs and UEFA and sue for damages to the good name of the club.

The club I would most like to go after is at the far end of the East Lancs road. Firstly for hacking into our clubs data base, then for the damages to the clubs name. After that we should go after all the other clubs one after the other. A broad park figure from each club let's say £50 million. This would have to be in one payment straight up. If they wish to pay in instalments the interest rate would be 25% per annum. I want this high so that they will be encouraged to pay it all in one payment and not in instalments.

You've described all our dreams. Unfortunately, dreams seldom come true.
