It's such a sad state of affairs that we continue to have people with this thought train, after everything that has gone on. You clearly have a lack of knowledge on the matter of virus spread looking at your last few posts.

When this is done and the NHS regain some form of normaility, you should check yourself into the psychiatric department for a once over.

Oh dear, don't worry you'll get used to idea that your not special, not that important and yes a gullible and feeble minded pleb and that's how the government views you.

In the SAGE papers the scientist wanted them to lock down london much earlier and just them to start with but we waited couple more weeks and shut down the country discharging patients from hosp to a care home without testing is a weird thing to happen when you have all scientist looking at
Letting in thousands from Spain was complete headfuck
Yeah London was ahead of the curve.
The worst was UK holiday makers returning from Italy and Spain after half term. Spanish football fans were a mere bagatelle.

People have different points of view, and many of us on here are happy to debate within the paramaters of normaility.

Unfortunately your attitude is not normal. In fact it's hugely concerning and you strike me as a very unstable human being in this instance.

Someone very close to me has lost their battle with this virus.

I find you abhorrent and an absolutely disgraceful example of a human being in this regard.

Such a shame.

If my memory serves me correctly, there were around 360 hospital deaths by 23 March. The day of the lockdown. I think Greece and and Slovenia locked down after just a handful of deaths. It's fair to say, we were slow to react compared to some other countries.
There are a few unforgiving aspects to the government’s handling of this crisis. That is one, the other is the lack of preparation (testing capability, PPE etc.). This may have come as a terrible shock to a lot of people but this pandemic has been on the cards for a long time. I have just watched “the flu that killed 50 million” on i player and it ends with all steps the UK have put in place for “the next pandemic”, it shows a report dated 2014 detailing Britain‘s preparedness. I think we can throw these accusations squarely at the tories due to the length of time they have now been in power and Brexit has had a strong bearing on this as well. I believe that the UK’s stockpile of PPE was mothballed due to no-deal precautions.
