I don’t work for the government if that’s what you’re getting at ;)Out of interest, what do you do for a living? You don’t need to be too specific. Self-employed? Commercial, public or NFP sector?
Tell them to fuck off.Next door but one is having new carpets fitted today.
Do you understand the difference between considered criticism and simply throwing lumps of political shit? This is not the politics thread and so no-one can mention our Home Secretary ;)
Makes no sense. As I say, the total number of people employed in the UK across all sectors is only like 30m ish. 33m maybe. The article says 50% are furloughed. That's 15m, 16m whatever. It cannot be 27m.
I can't access the article and can't be arsed registering but could the 27m include partners who are not working but are being indirectly or directly supported by the state?
The owner/resident isn't about.Tell them to fuck off.

Not sure where this is going but I’ll humour you ;), I’m a manager in the private sector (currently furloughed).Haha. But you’ve only answered part of the question ;)
May not be 3 weeks, they have to review in 3 weeks, suggestions some restrictions will be lifted at intervals before the 3 weeks.Sturgeon extending Scotlands lockdown by 3 weeks while Boris is looking at relaxing Englands restrictions.
not sure who is making the right call so they can both Fuck off. :)
In theory if they are in a different room, wipe down after the fitter and don't come into contact with the fitter then they may be ok. However I am guessing there may be more than on fitter and social distancing won't be easy. I am even nervous about the window cleaners coming to my house let alone letting anyone in.Next door but one is having new carpets fitted today.
Fair enough mate. Then I’ll admit my question was ill targeted and give myself a slap :)Not sure where this is going but I’ll humour you ;), I’m a manager in the private sector (currently furloughed).

I must be psychic, predicted this days ago.Very interesting to see a clear different approach emerging between England and Scotland it would seem?
Can’t believe that you didn’t call him a ****You’re a fucking idiot.
