Oi I hope you don't mean me,i am not extreme left ,i am trying to think people not politics,i can't help it if people keep putting it on me that I am only pissed off because it is the tories,i have said many times thank fuck labour are not in charge

no not you kaz but we should all be in this together. The point scoring and media have been disgusting. They are human beings elected with a huge mandate and doing their upmost. It is that simple.

I am banned from virtually all politics threads mate. Meanwhile I see blu thru and thru and the blue phantom, two sips and various others spout left wing bile that is frankly dog shit post after post - it gets me too angry. They are now kicking off about a fucking slogan.

I can’t stand extreme left wing people. I avoid them in real life and I will have to on here. It gets me too wound up.

Fucking tits the lot of them. They think the world will run on fresh air.
Pair of cunts plus the other dogs in their pack, PM each other when their current agenda gets no replies then jump on a thread that is currently popular... See the VE thread on Friday.

I saw it and the way they ganged up on mcfc1632 - disgusting

Agree with you last paragraph totally, this countries economy is mostly based on services etc for a reason that is best left on another thread, my point was that if people don't understand what Alert is then they may as well join the fuckwits that don't understand what lockdown is.

I think use of the word alert is entirely by design. People have different interpretations of what that looks like, and I think government well know that some people will absolutely move out to start seeing family etc. That is not an accident as I see it. At some point we need to see what happens when people start moving around some before we restart the economy.

I think it’s a very, very clever strategy but not one I agree with, at this moment in time.

3 weeks down the line. I’d be all in. (assuming we’d bottomed out)

Northern Japan going back into lockdown after a resurgence and spike in new cases.

One region in S Korea re-introducing partial lockdown measures as case resurface at a higher rate than for weeks.

They were well past peak, we are just leaving the plateau

Fair play mate I understand your concerns, I also agree that it is not an accident for the slogan, however I stick by what I said in that the same fuckwits that don't know what lockdown means will not understand what Alert means, which by the look of it is 60% of the current posters here, stay safe bud.

The prime minister unveiled the changes in a post on his official Twitter account - where he has removed the "stay at home" slogan from his handle.

Junior doctor Julia Simons tweeted: "Please can someone tell Boris coronavirus is not a physical assailant? You can't stay alert to single-stranded RNA
Oh yeah, Julia, that’s a much more punchy slogan.

Same to you sir.

Agree entirely, there will be a bunch of twats who absolutely rip the piss out of it.

Street parties. Family gatherings in the back garden with a nice bbq. Parks packed to the rafters. People out walking to the fucking moon and back.

Oh and cyclists. Fucking cyclists!

That summary sheet posted earlier had "if", "may", "possible", "limit" - it certainly could be interpreted by some as "I can do more or less what I like now", which I find a bit concerning. Whether that's the deliberate strategy time will tell but if the R0 rises significantly it could prove to be costly.

73% of Scotland's care homes have Covid-19 cases. Yes, she's played a blinder.
If you're not alert you can easily catch it. As I wasn't when I went to the doctors surgery for ACL physiotherapy
The role of devolved governments seems to be to leak UK government announcements, claiming they thought of it first, while adding no fcukin value.

It's quite obvious why the slogan is being changed: People are staying at home to protect the NHS and are dying as a result.
You still have to be alert as to what you do but people have to start going to hospital for normal health care and we have to start to open up the economy as well or we're all fucked.
I hope Boris explains it as such. We need to change the mindset.

True, I would love it if he uses the adjective or is it a noun ,"fucked" just once tonight.
Or pro noun.
