Not seen any jersey royal spuds in the shops this year.

This is my culture being from Jersey,

My dad even grows them and sells them at the end of his drive
I once went to Arbroath just to sample Smokies that Rick Stein was eating on his programme. They were delicious.

I once went to Poland to drink Tyskie on draught. It was so much better than in a tin or bottle.

I really must visit jersey in spud season to taste the pick of your jersey crop. I imagine they taste so much better than the supermarket spuds we get here mate.

Bloke that sells fruit and veg at Urmston market sells them and no big queues neither.

in1977 I worked in spud packing station at st johns jersey weighing the spuds before they went in the 56lb bags for distribution and export., it was a good laugh and fairly well paid at the time. as for the spuds...they are nothing short of excellent.
