Spurious Claim to Fame

I sang as a choirboy with Take That on TOTP and their Nynex Arena dates on their last tour in Never Forget.

Joan Bakewell is my second cousin.

I smoked a spliff with comedian Reginald D Hunter. I don’t even like the drug. He was good company though.

My dad's uncle Ernie lived at 251 Menlove Avenue until it was sold to the National Trust. This was the house John Lennon lived in with his aunt Mimi in the 50's, 60's.

I delivered a range of Dominos Pizza starters to Nicholas Anelka, I didn't finger him though.

I used to work in an all-night petrol station in Beswick and one night Davy Jones (of the Monkees) came in to fill up his car. Apparently he was over from California to visit his mum who apparently lived somewhere nearby (Openshaw I think). It was about 1am on a weeknight and it just seemed surreal.

When I was a toddler I wee’d on Caroline Aherne’s Mum at my Mam+Dad’s house.
