This is the big one. Am i wrong to think that rob harris breaking the news is a sign that this isn't going to end well for us?

This is a dictionary definition of paranoia.

If I were to have any reservations at all it would be the CAS itself.

I have no doubt that UEFA have representation on the inside.

At the end of the day this is a battle for power, and money has driven this from the start and will do so right up until the end.

We will see how smart UEFA really are and where their fingers are and in which pies after this.

I don’t believe they have a case. They will proceed through this like they do with every case they have ever been involved with. Bribes. Money. Corruption. That’s how they roll.

I suspect that isn’t going to work this time.

They have met their maker.

Love the optimism, but i can't see anything else than continued accusations and insinuations, regardless of how the verdict goes. It is just a thing to do, and they will kerp doing it no matter what the outcome is at cas.

That’s not how it works.

When libels start to rear their head news publications go very quiet and very quickly around the subject matter in question.

What you have to remember is that we don’t challenge. Rarely. We keep things in house and keep our counsel. We invite the press in for prawn sandwiches and earl grey tea. We be the bigger man 99% of the time.

However their comes a point when you draw a line. It happens all the time. This is our line now. If we are exonerated in this, then the first publication to level cheating at us is going to get a different response this time.

What if it’s misplaced confidence though. Where does the buck stop. There’s an awful lot riding on this.

It won’t be misplaced at his end. He knows what we have better than anyone. He is right to be confident about that.

Like I said in my earlier post. If UEFA win this it won’t be based on a rightful case. They will win in the ways they always have. Corruption.

And if that happens, then the court of arbitration won’t be the last port on the sail.

That would be the sweetest victory of them all but I'm sorry there's a part of me that says we'll be disappointed again and that's the mentality I'm running with. Think there may well be a few devastated people here in July.

The part of you that says that, could you expand on the reasons why?

I think a few on here just trot out sentences like that with absolutely no basis in fact.

Do you believe we are guilty of the alleged crime?

I have to say your post is appalling. The discussion to this point has been intellectual and interesting and you have brought it down to this piece of illiterate nonsense.

Don't you know it should be be " who gives a qfuck?" with a question mark on the end?

Punctuation is everything on this forum

:-)
But when I went to school - in the days of pens and ink wells - it was drummed into us that "U" ALWAYS followed "Q".
So shouldn't it be "Who gives a fquck?"

Says who?

I'm just happy to see a fixture in June. A bit of distraction from this COVID-19 will be good. It is a shame the CAS fixture is behind closed doors. I think if they streamed it, it'd halve the number on P0rnhub.

Evans has just said on talkshite that uefas evidence comes from us not the football leaks

Oh they going with the mislead angle hey even though Uefa looked at all the accounts and found nothing? So in reality the email hacks they relying on? We broke no Uefa rules.

Funny Evans gets a lot of info, whose the uefa snitch?

I hope you're right but we have made an art form of turning the other cheek.

Obviously, wish you were right. Can't see it myself.

Note, we are talking purely on how we are portrayed beyond this, my negativity is to that, not the case itself (to which i don't have the same negativity, but neither am i entirely positive about).

To have inside agents would require UEFA to suborn an awful lot of ppl.

Glad that we've finally got a date for the hearing and hoping, of course, that we will be fully exonerated. Very hard to predict with any confidence though how a three man panel will adjudicate on virtually any case.
