My only fear is if he does go we may end up with an even bigger ****, that weasley snivelling coke sniffing **** Gove and he makes Johnson look almost sane.

The next PM following a GE is likely to be Kier Starmer, I’d say - they’ve overplayed their hand with Johnson. Brexit will be ‘done’ and dusted by 2024 so that won’t be on the agenda but general competence and trust most definitely will be on the agenda and this is a ground where Johnson cannot compete with an alley cat never mind a serous politician

Exactly. I said right at the start of this pandemic that this was the time populism comes back to bite us all on the arse. Of course I got slated. Nearly three months on and I stand by it 100%.

The Conservative Party have a majority of 80 so they aren't going anywhere before 2024 but I think I'm correct in saying the leader of the party is elected by the 1920 Committee? Boris will be cutting DC free very soon, I'd be surprised if he's still in position come the end of business Wednesday. How long Boris can last after that is anyone's guess. The knives will be out at the first opportunity. Unfortunately this shitshow couldn't be at a worse time.

And it's not going to be much easier navigating a no deal Brexit. Serious questions have been asked of our Government and to say they've been found wanting would be putting it lightly. I can only imagine how much of the country they will hastily sell out in search of a quick win. It's going to be unrecognisable after this term in office.

Johnson’s poor political antenna was on show today, don’t back a non-runner. Do don’t commit - it only takes watching a few episodes of Yes, Minister to know the way out of this was an ‘internal enquiry’.....

Are we sensing another poll tax moment for the Torys where the general public realised what a shit show was being served up by their government. It’s no where near that yet but if they don’t get the economic recovery part of the covid situation right, us unwashed natives will be getting restless with our double standard preaching overlords.

Excellent post!!! I have no political leaning I just want the most suitable people doing the job to the best of their ability, right from the outset these fucking clowns have lied about practically everything and I mean everything, this latest piss take is just part of the icing because before this cluster fuck of a shit show has run it's course there will no doubt be umpteen occasions where the cherry could of been stuck on.
