Saw some of his interview. He comes across as very old BUT it was nice to hear someone talk coherently and with a semblance of humility. Basically just sound human.
 
I enjoyed the "Millions and millions they'll spend" on the proposed convention, but don't want to turn up and not be let in. I think that's what he said, several times.

It was like a tour of his favourite rants - democrat governors, mail voting, opening churches, the ban on flights from Chiina, a new ban on Brazil flights apparently, and some stuff about Biden wearing a mask and his ranting twitter attacks about something not being murder that should be proved.

He said that Biden is weak for wearing a mask but he is telling the public to wear them

I’m not so sure.

I can see him crying election fraud etc to try to cling on to power.

I don’t think he wants the responsibility of being President, but he definitely wants the status. And I think he wants the power to be able to sack the people who might want to investigate him.

Seems like a world away now, but before he won the election, wasn’t he facing some serious charges? Was it tax fraud or something related to Trump University? Obviously it’s all been completely sidelined after he became President.

Never underestimate the power of a shit Democratic party. And the voting system. He could win a 2nd term. He really could.

Out of office he would spend the rest of his life fighting in courts - he is bound to lose some along the way. That is a big motivation to stay in and have the ability to control the investigators and the AG.

He will fight the election in the dirtiest way possible, when he loses he will fight the system. But as i understand it Congress is the default if the election fails i.e. if there are not enough clear results from states to decide it then Congress gets to decide it. So there is no clear path to winning that way.

I agree mate.

Hillary was 10 points in front going in to the last election.

If the last 5 years has taught us anything, it’s that right wing politicians will say or do absolutely anything in order to win.
