Surely surely surely there will be systematic change in the US police force after all this - why not propose a law change.

If a police officer is charged with murder he will get life. Just an example - just some law change to calm all this down
 
Seeing some very ugly videos and pictures of what non-lethal rounds can do when deliberately targeted head-shots are being used. A journalist in Minneapolis has been left blind in one eye as a result. It's a tragedy unfolding before our very eyes. Stay safe everyone who's located anywhere near a hotspot.

Anyone talking about MLK need to shut their hypocritical mouths up!!! if you were in the days of MLK you would probably have attacked him also as the conservatives did back in the 60's! Colin Kapernick tried to protest peacefully and he was vilified by the right wing media, punished by the NFL, had his contract terminated and ridiculed by sport media outlets, now that the protests have turned violent, the same people who criticized Kap[ernick are now the same ones saying " violent protest is not the answer, MLK would be rolling in his grave" among other hypocritical bullshit they try to use to emotionally black mail and demoralize the black protesters, knowing very well that they NEVER cared about MLK, a man who the conservative media at some point called "Martin Luther Koon" but now they pretend like they ever cared about his stance on civil rights!!!

Colin takes a knee on the field- *conservatives :* "Oh please enough of his hypocrisy. Boycott Nike etc"

Right wing anti- lockdown protesters protesting at the CAPITOL with AR15 and AK47! *conservatives :* "Wow these people are heroes."

Cop takes a knee on the neck of a black man murdering him in the process - *conservatives :* Oh that's bad but who knows maybe he resisted!

video evidence showing that the dead black man didn't resist arrest is released to the public - *conservatives :* I would wait until I see the complete video.

Blacks protesting the death of an innocent man - *conservatives :* "These people are crooks, violence is not the answer, what would MLK say....."

OH PLEASE!!! do us all a favour ,shut the fuck up and keep MLK's name out of your mouths . Damn hypocrites!

I’d understand it more if it was happening here, but it’s over in the USA. What the fuck is a protest here going to achieve? Who are they protesting to? And why do it when there’s a deadly virus going round?

Do these idiots not know we aren’t part of that horrible fucking country? Our Police will just say “yes, we agree with you and we don’t treat the population of this country in the same way the US Police do their population, so what’s your point? let’s all go home!”

And why is it everyone is so keen to stick their nose onto that horrible country? Unless I missed them, I didn’t see demonstrations for the persecution/genocide of the Rohingya people, nor many of the other worldwide issues.

Show sympathy at home and demonstrate online... but go fucking home you fucking morons covid is still here!

There was a bi partisan bill ready to go with regards to police controls. Guess who blocked it?
 
Unfortunately there are five elements that make up these protests
a) Legitimate protesters with the incredibly legitimate case to protest who are sick to death of the injustice and corruption. No intention to break anything or riot, probably furious that their message is being drowned out by the violence.
b) Legitimate protesters who don't go with the intention to break stuff or riot, but if things start kicking off they might get swept up in it and join in.
c) Fair weather protesters who quite like protesting things and like to be seen as part of the crowd. No intention to cause trouble, really just there for the day out. Very surprised to discover the police they are protesting for brutality actually are brutal, even to them.
d) Cunts who like smashing stuff and see protests as a great excuse and don't really give a shit if they are then used as a reason to demonise the protest and they never really cared in the first place
e) Deliberate and organised right wing criminals who want to instigate violence to use as cover to invalidate the protest. Fire starters, both literally and metaphorically.

The majority of the protesters are probably in the first 3 groups, but the latter two turn the whole thing into a riot and give the government and media all the ammo they need to ignore the injustice and turn it back on the protesters.

Lots of minority support buildings have been targeted in various states as well. The real protestors aren’t going to burn down their own support networks.

Alt Right cunts are also targeting all the major news networks.

Yup, pretty much coming round to the idea that that was the whole point. They didn't want a lockdown but public opinion demanded one, so they half arsed it, took us out of it early, so when we inevitably get a second wave they can declare that we tried a lockdown and it didn't work. Pretty much the classic man tactic of doing a terrible job with the washing up so the wife never asks you to do it again.

Either that or we are just spectacularly incompetent.

Just had a look at that and a few replies down is a compilation, police are so out of control, they are going to incite a crowd to really turn on them soon. There will be deaths. With the amount of guns in that country, its a scary thought the way this is escalating.
