Greek Holidays

Greece has done surprisingly well during the crisis. They've also stood pretty firm on closing borders etc, but with nye on the whole country solely relying on tourism income between May and September, they will have to bend over soon enough.

And don’t forget our quarantine is to be reviewed at the end of June.
No guarantee it will end.

I regret not stopping off in Athens when I went to Albania. It looked drier and warmer.

Think you will find we are now... they announced it yesterday.

Tourism minister Haris Theoharis told the ANA-MPA news agency: “Tourists originating from airports listed on EASA are obliged to be tested once they land in Greece and remain at a designated hotel for one day. If the test turns out negative, these visitors will then be obliged to observe a seven-day quarantine. If their sample is positive, they will remain in a 14-day quarantine and their health will be monitored."

so you have to be tested on arrival.
Stay at a designated hotel for a day.
If negative you must quarantine for a week.
If positive you must quarantine for a fortnight.

good luck with a Greek holiday!

If Greece won’t let us in then we holiday elsewhere. The EU decimated that country as it is.
