And seeing as Bayern run the national team, I feel that his omission from the national team was Bayerns doing.I personally believe that was the entire plan all along.

Perhaps it was (his omission).
How could we possibly have cashed in on him last summer. Bayern were only going to offer half his actual value, and nobody else formally came forward.

??? if that is the case its daft and they could ask for £200million or say we have had a offer of £200million and then a percentage lets say 25% so city would have to pay £150million for a player we let go for peanuts ???
If a team bids 150m for him, we (apparently) have the right to match (or better i assume) that offer and then it's up to the player. If we don't want to match the offer then we get a percentage (i think it's around 15%) of the fee. Lets say he sells for £120m then thats £18m plus the money we sold him for (£8m?). Not the worst deal ever.??? if that is the case its daft and they could ask for £200million or say we have had a offer of £200million and then a percentage lets say 25% so city would have to pay £150million for a player we let go for peanuts ???
The Hazard to Madrid deal was completely the opposite to this. Deal agreed between the clubs months before. Madrid didn't take the piss and offered what Chelsea wanted £90m + addons that could push the final figure way beyond that. I can't help but feel the deal went so smoothly because Hazard wanted it to be that way out of respect to his former club.
That would make sense, coz reports of €35m now. Personally I know it isnt my money but show sane how much they care about him. Release a statement saying £60m or wait till his contract ends but he only plays reserve football. Why should we spend time training and progressing a bayern player. Then show sane that bayern dont care if he sits out for nearly 2 years no football. Might change his mind.Reports last summer were suggesting Bayern were preparing a £70million offer.
Hope not, would rather see the money reinvested in the squads future.I hope we keep him for the final 12 months

If Sane is desperate to live back in Germany then let him go with our good wishes. If however that is not the case then do what ever to keep him.
Yep. Which which was less than half his value. Hardly cashing in!
If Barca or Real Madrid came calling tomorrow, Bayern wouldn't see Sane but for the dust from his Merc.
However, City have certainly tried as best as they could so far.
Perhaps if we win at CAS next week we might yet see a Hail Mary from Txiki and the board.
Sadly, we would have to go higher than £240k a week Bayern have gone to, which is when the likes of Bernie and Laporte would be more than justified to have their own agents on the blower.
Not my money, if the shackles are finally off next week, I couldn't care less if we paid him £300k a week just to nail him down.
I think he is a fantastic player.
