That the same Candace Owens who claimed Hitler would have been alright if he didn't expand beyond Germany, the same Candace Owens who inspired the Christchurch shooter, the same Candace Owens that has claimed "Europe will fall and become a Muslim majority continent by 2050" and the same Candace Owens that has consistently criticised the Black Lives Matter movement?

Yeah, I wouldn't use her as a reputable source.

Most (maybe ‘all’ but I can’t prove that and most probably wasn’t all) of the slaves taken to the Americas and Middle East and Asia were already slaves to black empires within Africa.

These African empires - like the Benin Empire - sold their slaves to the Europeans and Asians.

The biggest slaver of all was Tipu Tip, from the Zanzibar Empire. Henry Louis Gates Jr’s research claims that Tipu Tip, as one man, had more slaves go through his books to Asia than the entire American slave trade in the same time period.

The slave trade within Africa with Africans enslaving Africans has a long history.

Even English Protestants sold captured English Catholics to the African slave trade during and after the English Civil War because the trade of slaves within Africa was a known profitable venture.

I wonder if now Americas 'stand your ground' law would protect someone attacked by Police? Say they get heavy handed can you just shoot them? You can legitimately say your life was in danger after the George Floyd killing.

If it is indeed the same person and she's said that, then she is very warped/

Agree with that.

Almost every country in the world has at some point been balls deep in the slave trade because they've looked upon people of other races/nationalities/religions as inferiors.

Those in power should absolutely listen to the concerns of certain communities but when those concerns are not legitimate or outright daft, they should say so.

Very good post. Thomas Jefferson founded the US navy in response to US citizens being captured and enslaved by Barbary pirates operating in the Mediterranean sea and north Atlantic ocean. Such fear did these pirates cause many coastal communities moved inland to avoid capture in the Mediterranean area.

Sometimes not even about looking at them as inferior, more just being a byproduct of war, invasion and trade.

The entire native Iceland population can trace their ethnicity back to Norse Vikings taking British women as sex slaves as a necessity because nobody lived in Iceland therefore they needed women to reproduce with in their new nation, and their offspring are the Icelanders.

That is clearly not what I was saying,go back to my first post,i didn't say the officers who killed him knew anything about him,I am uncomfortable with police giving him an escort,it feels hypocritical by the police and an opportunity to look good
As it happens what Dom said was wrong as proved by my link,he did what you are doing and making it personal rather than trying to understand what I was saying in my first post

What is it with you two and the spurs **** that has to go personal all the time,it is fucking annoying
