I disagree
They are protesting based on something that happened thousands of miles away
Yes of course black lives matter
Yes racism is an evil to rid the world of
But they are putting everyone at risk by being there

But you can bet these people will blames Boris Johnson next week when the death rate starts to go back up
No personal accountability
Liverpool fans will now turn up in their thousands to celebrate winning the league
Why because no one gives a fuck anymore
 
I will protect anyone's right to protest peacefully but some of the people are nothing short of scum.

Add to this the total lack of any social distancing during a pandemic and you have to question not only the mentality of swathes of our population but also their morality.

Genuine protesters don't wear balaclavas.

'Peaceful' doesn't mean harmless though.

This could be a violent protest with thousands fighting and looting and it might not do anywhere near as much harm as a peaceful mass gathering in a pandemic, not just in terms of spreading coronavirus but in terms of undermining the point of social distancing which has already been undermined by those in power.

Sad but spot on,it was only a matter of time before our and yanks government lost control,and had to be expected with the two nuggets in so called control.

It means some (not all by any means) are the same guys out at every protest going
They don’t care about there fellow man enough to actually make a positive difference by stopping the spread of a disease
They pretend to care about everyone

Boris couldn't have stopped this, what he should do however is keep the peace by removing these people off the street, they are breaking the law just being there.

The sad fact is that they just can't continue to riot and be violent, what we can't do is allow a repeat of the riots. The govt should do what's right and have confidence the electorate are behind them keeping order.

He wouldn’t dare though or he’d have done it by now mate,he be sat in Downing Street chomping on a pot noodle thinking fuck um,there’s nowt on telly tonight anyway so I may as well watch these tools potentially kill themselves

I am not saying it is ok but the timing is what it is,it is not a cause as such,it is demonstrating about the way they have treated most of their lives so they are entitled to do what they are doing,they are angry about the treatment their own are getting in America and that has got them out on the streets ,i expect they feel now is the time to push for change ,for them it is bigger than a virus, i really can't condemn them as t his is about the injustice and racism they live with,it is complicated !

As I said I fully understand that this is shit timing and somewhat dangerous but most are wearing masks

Working from home
Fuck that let’s go protest
