There are lots of far right people going to the protests simply to wind up protesters though. So while they may not be pretending to be on the left or starting violence themselves, they are stirring the pot for sure.

I don’t think it’s going to be a white v black thing as we all know football firms have black members and BLM have white supporters but this is just getting fucking stupid. A lot of people are going to get hurt (including police) and god help us if someone gets killed!
I heard the police moved people away who were protecting the churchill statue and let the protesters vandalise it? If it’s true - i’m not surprised these hooligans are all meeting in London!

Why are we protecting statues? Do they have feelings? Are we saying we want to keep statues of people who drown men, women and children at sea for money?

I think the police turn a blind eye when the left anarchists ( antifa) start their shit, either that or they're too scared to make mass arrests because of fear of a human rights backlash from them. Antifa don't know how to protest peacefully, they're only out for confrontation and violence but the powers that be let them continue march after march.

Who is he referring to when he says ‘their’ is my immediate question. It doesn’t look good does it? He was called out three years ago after messages were sent to another boxer from his social media account labelling them a “disgrace to the superior black race”. I very much hope he’s telling the truth when he says his account was hacked.

I suppose only Anthony Joshua can say if he sees one race as superior to another or not. Many are fighting against this very point so I’d like to think he uses his very powerful voice to encourage the right message in the future. Adding to the divide between communities is counter productive in the long run.

The thing with timing is that the winds of change blow when they blow and you can't wait 6, 12 months and hope there's still enough of a gust about to ignite the fervour that is around at the moment. The traction that a call for change has received over the last week is immense and it must be seized upon now.

The fact that the UK police haven't waded in to those that have caused trouble is quite telling. I think it says they can sense a real change is coming and if they push against it they will get blown over. Hopefully we'll get to see peaceful protests begin to police themselves and intervening with the violent elements before they get too crazy.

Boxing fans are free to do want they want with their money. We all are. Support local retailers, don’t support local retailers. Buy British, don’t buy British. I support West Indian shops because they are the only ones that sell proper hard dough bread.

It does tickle though me that a black guy urges people to support black businesses and he is automatically a racist and you guys are hopping up and down, frothing with outrage and excitement. It’s not as if knelt on a guy and killed him or anything. He just wants you to buy some hard dough bread.
