I know it stays in Midgar, so i'm bloody gutted. No Cosmo Canyon, no Gold Saucer, no Costa Del Sol, no Fort Condor, no Junon etc :(

Yes online is fun for an old bastard like me, played the first but thought it boring after a while. They got away from the in game purchases due to all the hate and apparently it turned into quite a decent game but the damage had been done.

Ordered a delanclip so just waiting for it too arrive and i will also use it on xplane and the upcoming MSFS2020 but for DCS it is an absolute must in the clickable cockpits and dog fighting.

debating whether to buy the A-10C of the FA-18 Hornet modules but they are both off the scale when it comes to difficulty lol

It was delanclip I got also. Takes a bit of tinkering to get going but decent enough. Next time there's a sale I may take a look but went for a few il-2 ones recently.

Top tip i have been given. Dont put the web can centre but put it to the side you have the clip, left or right as it improves tracking no end or so i have been told mate.

Yeah, you see it when you put it on. Another tip I didn't see mentioned often is have a recenter button bound easily, so it will recalibrate on the fly if like me you move around a bit. Don't know your setup but it's on a throttle button on mine. You'll just end up dancing around otherwise. Let us know how you go with it.

Do you use a HOTAS? I've got a Thrust master HOTAS X and it's ok but not top end by any means and could do with more hat buttons like the WARTHOG.
 
T.1600. It's the next one along I think. 4 analogs + like an xbox thumbstick hat wise all told across the stick and throttle. Plus the pedals but mainly just used as brakes due to space. Tbh I replaced the X with this last year and for the price the full setup aint bad. There are a few extra axes and a scroll wheel which are good for setting trims etc. Think it came in at £170

Bought a PS4 day one, still going strong, but the launch window was underwhelming tbh, actually played the fuck out of Resogun and was top 10 in the World at one point, but resogun isn't the sort of game to make a generation leap for. Had battlefield 4 and Killzone shadowfall, as day one games, Battlefield ran like shit for ages, and KZ shadowfall was wank, had been a KZ fan before then. So I won't be day one this time, got a feeling the PS5 will be expensive, so I will wait for better games and a price drop. Wouldn't put anyone off a day one purchase if they are buzzing for it though.

I need extra hat switches on the throttle and the 1600M will do not nicely. It's also my upgrade path. Spending £400 on a warthog will end in divorce lol
