you have to have big balls and work amazingly hard and talent alone will not be enough ? nobody is questioning the talent sane has but pep does question his work rate for the team ? like i said it could be worst ? it could be liverpool or united he wants to play for. going to the german league is ok for manchester city in terms of danger to us long term but as for champions league and meeting munich its ok to. because i would think city would have his number and know a early kick letting him know our fullbacks are not messing around

Without Sane we are lacking the pace that was our trademark to complement our passing. Sterling and Walker are the only ones left. Sane has pace skill and scoring ability that is hard to replace. Attidudeand work ethic is also essential. No doubt we have younger replacements lined up.

Will miss Leroy but we haven’t seen him all season and it’s no surprise

We have better players than Leroy and I am sure we as a club will continue to move forward

Leroy wants to go back to Germany and I respect that and goes with my best wishes

Will he still be as potent though following his injury

If Leroy's agent has any sense he will now run down his contract , less than 12 months left and he could get a eight figure sigining on fee next summer , its only another six months and he will be able to talk to other clubs , similar to Milner i think he will string us along and leave on a free transfer.
I suspect that’s exactly what they are planning to do.

I get why Pep’s happy to see him go, just saying I enjoy watching him glide past defenders like they’re not there and will miss that

Don't really get why people are going in on him, he's not lead the club on, and he's not slandered us in the slightest.

He's every right to leave if he wants to, and the deal being made out of it is almost dipperlike.

I appreciate the service and wish him the best. We have better players and have the clout to buy good enough replacements.

Who cares? Capitalise and get someone in who wants to play for us.

Saka at Arsenal only has one year left on his deal and looks good. We could do worse than him. Versatile, young and talented.

Yes he really does and his versatility would be a huge asset to us playing either in an advanced role or, against the parked bus, with his attacking instincts as a fullback.

Furthermore I think he would be more accepting of rotation than if we bought a more experienced player. If he was available and his form maintains its trajectory it would be a no-brainer.

And potentially “cheap” too.

sane can be whatever he wants but questions will always be there ? managers like pep want that little bit more for the team. pep and sane are not on the same page ? you only have to look at sterling he was just like sane and got his head down and worked bloody hard on his game and sterling is miles ahead of sane in term of working for the team

i don't think we will miss sane that much and the game always finds you out ? city don't have to panic and we have some great talent in the youth and 3 are already nailed on for next season and we have money so losing sane will be a blow. but like i said somebody will take your place in a flash

To be fair I haven't noticed many City fans attacking Sane, at least in my group of matchgoers. The main gripe is with Bayern who should have put up or shut up. If the player wants to go back to Germany for family reasons so what. I think we will miss him but I have always believed that if a player doesn't want to stay at your club there's no point getting stressed about it. We just need to move on.

Judge our supporters reaction when he returns in an opposing teams shirt , not what interent warriors post on here , you bang out of order comparing our supporters to Dippers , they are a f&cking disgrace what they did to Sterling , Torres , Suarez etc.,when they returned to Klanfield
Our supporters , especially match going generally give a decent reception to ex-players , i remember Franny Lee scoring a 30 yarder for Derby against us , and we f*cking applauded him.

To think we’ll get less for him and Sancho than we shelled out for Mahrez. Sad to see him go as there’s no better sight than him gliding past defenders.

Doubt he can play in the CL this term, you have to name your squad for group stage and then last 16 in advance don’t you? (Though I stand to be corrected).

This could turn into a Wayne Bridge or Tevez type Mexican standoff.

As Euro 2020 becomes Euro 2021, from having little chance Sané goes to having a good chance, provided that he gets some game time next season. From his point of view he needs to go this summer, from City’s point of view Pep isn’t interested in playing anyone that doesn’t want to stay.
As FFP is suspended at the moment we can afford to leave him on the wage bill.
I hope that Sané is told that I It’s all in Bayern’s hands, if they want him so desperately then they can pay, if they won’t then Leroy needs to bring his towel every game to keep the splinters off his arse on the bench. He missed the 2018 WC as Julian Brandt was selected ahead of him (Bayer Leverkusen to Dortmund €25m a year ago) so if he’s got any ambition at all re: CL and national team he needs to get his agent’s arse into gear.

I can see him going to Real, Juve or PSG (if his mum lets him), maybe his partner would prefer Paris.
