Think too many are reading to much into peps comments after weds and champions league qualification,as it stands we are in a champions league position when the CAS verdict comes out we will know one way or the other ..

Well not really.... As it stands we are banned for 2 years and when the CAS verdict comes out we will know if we've managed to get it overturned

Not looking into it at all, but commentary, media stuff, prior to the CAS hearing were simply saying "Man City banned from the Champions League for two years", now seem to be tagging "depending on the outcome of their appeal at the CAS hearing" on the end now, don't know if anyone else has noticed.
Apart from liverpool fans i have noticed almost total silence there is not even the ` City can not get top class players because of the ban` in the press, perhaps they realize just how far down the libel road they have traveled?

I honestly don’t know mate, the only real reason I’ve noticed was because beforehand , it was doing my head in that all news outlets , commentators etc would only mention about the ban and very rarely ever mention the fact we’ve appealed , now , they’re mentioning both together , it’s swung the other way, not saying it’s anything to do with the outcome of our case, but something has definitely changed imo .

Jamie Jackson wrote his customary snide piece in the Guardian on the day of the Arsenal game, which was headlined 'The Premier League Champions face the prospect of losing their title, their Champions League place and Kevin De Bruyne in a defining few weeks'.

This was a couple of days after Delaney wrote about sportwashing with a cover picture of Bernado with blue blood dripping from him.

So no......nothing has changed.

Jackson is one bitter fuck. He knows how the Trafford empire is crumbling and he’s tied his whole career to kissing their respective arses.

He is a sneering little git,how I would love to see City ban him along with certain other half wit hacks

They probably just trusted Soriano when he told them we are innocent, and have put it to the back of their minds to concentrate on on-the-pitch matters.
Which is more than every podcast (non City) journalist has done as more or less are talking about the “race for 5th given City are banned”. It’s rather annoying.

I noticed it on NBCSN here in the US. Lots of "fifth place could be important if . . ." Before the break it was City have been banned. Also not reading much into it other than maybe they have done some research and learned that it is not so clear cut as they once thought.

Yes, the standard press just hedging their bets a little.

Translation: “Manchester City is calm about its possible sanction and has thus transmitted it to its staff. They consider the view with UEFA very positive and even contemplate a suspension / postponement of it. If so, the club will shake the market with several important signings.”

first possible leak. He never gets his early City line up calls wrong
Suspension / postponement is strange though

I feel like journalists putting it out there that we're going to "shake the market" if we get a suspended ban would be the quickest way for it to be political suicide for UEFA to give us a suspended ban.

Probably translates to suspended ban. I’d take that then we take them to the courts and fuck off ffp for good

A suspended ban is still an indictment and does not achieve what we are aiming to achieve in drawing a line under all of this, if we are truly innocent I would expect this to be taken further
