De Laurentiis must be smiling after our game yesterday, knowing Koulibaly’s price just went up by another 10m.
Or the lack of a ball winner in midfield
Like fern used to be.
Ferdandino showed last night he isn’t a CB,Otamendi came on ...same thing. Even Laporte didn’t look fully fit. Stones ? ....missing again. Time for changes !!!!well I'd buy half a new squad but that's just me.
Age, priceStrong, great in the air, rapid, confident with both feet, composed, a leader and can actually tackle. What's the downside?
Age is perfect, in his pomp and ready to lead. Won’t stifle Garcia and bellis long term. Price for quality I’m afraid. Dias or similar age could cost 60m and be a big gamble.Age, price
Age, price
Same age as van Dijk and the same age Fernandinho was when we signed him. The price is what it is but it's less than what it was.
I'd rather us spend a fortune on a player everyone knows is top quality than a supposed investment like Stones or a player who has just come off the back of one top quality season like Otamendi.
Van Dijk was 26 when Liverpool signed him, Koulibaly is 29.
All rumours of course till hes holding the shirt but presumably last night sealed the deal if not already for Pep that he simply cannot go into next season with our current centre backs. Its a big fee but if we win another two prem titles and whatever else then its worth it.
Only slight issue is his age, but other than that would be a great signing for the club. Actually think it could happen too.Strong, great in the air, rapid, confident with both feet, composed, a leader and can actually tackle. What's the downside?
